My secondary education
Hi, I attended this place when it was just Francis Combe school, by far the worst days of my life, (1974-1979) I learnt nothing but how to hide from the amount of bullying, physical violence and abuse you could imagine, so much so a pupil took his own life! Headmasters to cleaners did nothing, in my opinion close it down for good , those who taught or attended know this is the truth!

teachers love staring at you to give you detention, school dinners are disgusting ( i got food poisoning from their curry) there is hair in the food. food is NOT fresh they use the same curry for a couple times a week also they dont use gloves for the food. they dont sell water bottles anymore so you are forced to drink from the very dirty water fountains. they say they dont sell water bottles anymore due to plastic waste even though they wrap the food they cook and sell in layers of plastic wrap and cling film. school is freezing (have gotten a cold a few time because its FREEZING), teachers forcefully keep windows open. i have never gone on a school trip the whole time i have been here but a few months ago, principal deborah warrick spent £30,000 on a fence 😃. you literally get a detention for not having a rubber…
many teachers are very bad, many are racist (recently one got fired for being racist to a student). P.E teachers watch you change for pe for some reason??? overall not really that good, i feel like instead of being so strict on uniform and equipment maybe they should improve their schools and education + learning. ALSO school is very dirty, bathrooms are disgusting, and there is basically mess everywhere, they only clean up on open evenings or when govners are coming, other than that it is very dirty full of bacteria honestly. There is paper, elastic bands, finger nails, dust and other dirt on the floor, window sills, desks. the only time they only cleaned a little bit was in lockdown and since it ended it has remained dirty ever since. i feel like they should clean this school a lot more due to the fact of being over 1000 students

I'd give 0 if I could. Absolutely AWFUL place!! I was a victim of s*xual harassment as well as my friend and they did nothing about it. I was bullied and nothing was done. There's only like 4 good teachers. Students are awful and all treat everyone like shit. 👎 Worst choice of my life going here. They don't care about their students, only their reputation.

Dont go there. It's an awful place. People are homophobic and racist and the teachers dont do anything. You cant learn without kids disrupting the lessons. You get made fun of for basically everything. Go somewhere, ANYWHERE else but there.
