Friars Grove Primary School

Absolutely over the moon my son left this school just over a year ago and is thriving beyond expectations.This school is so below par academically and so far off regards SEND I believe any child that attends will suffer.The SEND department are so departmentally by the book they forgot what they put in place should be best for the child not best for the school and in all honesty their is not personal detail to attention it’s just “hello” and “goodbye” and that’s if your not being chased out of the school by the new headmaster because a teacher lied about an issue that never happened.Please amend your policy on bullying as you allowed my autistic son to be bullied to the extent he couldn’t go on his residential…….instead his bullies attended without recourse and actually boasted what they had done.

My son tomorrow finishes Langham primary school tomorrow and in the short time he has been their he has made so many friends he doesn’t want to leave and he now has an EHCP that friars grove spent years applying for (Langham spent but a few months).Everything in the last year was put in place to help my son as apposed to Friars grove who actually removed the SEND class in favour of another main stream class …….absolutely disgraceful and I could go on but will end it here knowing my son is going to have a good life educationally due to Langham Promary school.

My son told me there was a few.. disruptions in his class. A naughty child, and he said instead of being punished for, for example throwing a chair once, he went to “the rainbow room” and played board games and football with 2 of his friends. Overall an okay school but not a good punishment system
