Honest review with my honest mistakes
i used to be a student there i made a mistake and got kicked out when i got back into the school the teachers told me i need to sort my life out and go to the gym. when i have already been to a weightlifting gym for 5 years and an mma gym for 5. i was promised prom as well when i went back and then lied and last minute said I'm not allowed to go although they said if i have good behaviour i would be aloud to go i hadn’t done anything wrong and i wasn’t allowed to go. They don’t care open your eyes
Awful school they act like they care but they don’t lots of poeple can agree with me they don’t care about bullying or deal with it and if you got mental problems they only care until you do something and they lie lie and lie it’s no wonder why all the students are all like this because they build a brick wall over you face and don’t deal with anything!!

I regret ever sending my child to this school.
Absolutely awful. I regret ever sending my child to this school. My child was being bullied, raised this with the schools and... nothing. Try getting in touch with anyone, and you'll learn its impossible. My wife and I spent 2 days repeatedly calling the school only for no one to pick it up. Try by email? Good luck with that. Really bad school.
SEND needs largely ignored as well as EHCP’s, militantly run and all about control and coercion rather than positive and constructive practices. Pass rates down, attendance down, sixth form applications down and year 7 intake down. Mental Health issues prevalent among students. Keep your child safe.

My Gateacre School / Northern Schools Trust nightmare
Gateacre School & Northern Schools Trust are truly shocking. I am a teacher of 15+ years myself, and I deeply regret sending my child to Gateacre School. My Year 7 child was the victim of repeated attacks from a known abuser, followed by death threats. This same child was allowed to roam freely and harm other students, including while standing directly in front of my child.
