This school is like hell. DO NOT COME HERE! Miss Geary and the Head Teacher team up on you and follow you around complaining about uniform. Miss Geary will put you in isolation for absolutely no reason sand likes to give detentions out all the time. I PROMISE YOU if you come to this school you will come out worse then you entered. Tiktok taught me more than Glossopdale school.

Poor management and bullies are rife.
This school has no management. This school is rife with bullying. The head has no control. It needs new management to take control and turn a great establishment into a great school. The head teacher and the head leaders should be ashamed. You have no leadership whatsoever. You let the bullies and kids who have no interest in learning rule. There is a good reason your Ofsted report is so poor. My child and so many more are having and have had issues and you just have no idea how to deal with things. You say 0 policy to bullying. Take this off your website as it's a complete nonsense. I'm going to be contacting Ofsted for a start.

My Experience
I know there will be some kids that come on here and mess around but im genuinely serious about how that school treated me and the majority of my year group. There is little to no help if you are struggling with mental health. Talking from experience at that school. I wasnt doing good with my mental health and school did nothing. I'd like to specifically name one person who made it hell for me for the amount of abuse I went through. Hi Mrs Naylor. The mental scars your choices and actions gave me will never fade. Parents looking at this school as a choice, take it from a student who was treated so poorly at that school that I came out of it worse than I went in. They care about reputation over safety and care of the students and faculty.

This is a great school, especially for those who want to do well later in life, it really sets you up for the things you might want to do and gives you a vast array of all subjects for you/your child. All teachers are extremely friendly, especially Miss Smith (biology) and Miss Logan (english). The state of the school is great, it certainly isn’t as good as it could be but the staff are doing a good job. The teachers also are very good at their jobs, best of all (my opinion), Mr Bruce. He always makes the lessons fun and engaging for all students no matter their behaviour. One of the best parts about glossopdale is the food. Lots to choose from, they have a range of hot meals every day of the week, and if you wish you can come with an already packed lunch. The classrooms are great and have all the correct equipment, apart from one class (not naming names) but it’s a maths room and it never has any working glue sticks which gets annoying quite easily. Apart from that one bad thing everything else is a positive. Thanks for reading my review. Written by a year 10, Sunday 9th January 2022. One more thing, Mr lownes is a cool guy.

How has COVID-19 had an affect on Glossopdale!
The pupils are separated into ‘year group’ bubbles. You have to wear a face mask except from when you are outside or eating indoors. They have welcomed students back by a staggered start.
