Glyn school is average.

The overall of this school is average, with loads of students having reports(having bad conduct). Studuents conduct is bad: vaping in school, sneaking teir phone in lessons and more. Teachers are fine but sometimes overstrict especially computing department Mr.M.Charalia. He is ot a great teacher. The best things about this school is the canteens and street kitchen altho the food is always the same pizza, panni so on but they taste great.

Glyn School

At first sight it seems brilliant, however, the sheer amount of students is too large for the school site, leading to being crushed in hallways and pushed down stairs. There are a few poorly skilled teacher, especially in the science department. Canteen food seems great until you realise it repeats every week so it all gets boring, plus it is overpriced. They punish anyone who gets into trouble and completely missed a fight that was started due to someone's sexuality and even tried to victimise the homophobe.

Very average

Satisfaction - made great friends here. Everything else is really boring
Academics - too much homework given. Lessons are often boring. The years 7-11 library is like it’s made for 10 year olds. The Sixth Form library is sparse of books but offers desks and list of computers.
Indoor environment - the most drab interiors ever since they redecorated the place over lockdown. Most of the buildings are over 90 years old. The Sixth Form building is very new, and offers a great learning environment.
Outdoor environment - a large field, astroturf, basketball courts, tarmac playground, PRIEST HILL.
Safety and security - built like a prison.
Activities - lots of new clubs launched this year. There are so many academic/sporting clubs to do, as well as trips (but these are usually low-budget).
Teachers - some are amazing, most are good, some are absolutely awful.
Handling bullying - was bullied and my experience with how they handled it was good.
School information - a new website and the search bar STILL doesn’t work, making it annoyingly difficult to find things.
Equal rights - they’re really pushing it but I don’t see any results.
Food & meals - food is often very nice, but can be inconsistent with how good it tastes. It is way too overpriced.
Sports - a great school for sports, with a very successful rugby team and a good football team too. There is a vast area filled with playing fields and athletics equipment, including 2 sandpits. Probably one of the best sports state schools in the county.
School culture - trying too hard to be steeped in tradition as well as being too progressive.
Code of conduct - school behaviour codes are found literally everywhere, very rarely enforced though, except for lateness which is handled a little too seriously.
Challenging - lessons are very easy, there is usually a stretch task but nothing after that. Maths is hard though.
Personal development - basic form time activities and PSHE designed for self-reflection but are all very boring. 1-1 feedback is ok, but hard to attain.
