students carry knives, sell drugs and all the teachers ever care about is the uniform and dress code. cant speak on how it is currently since i left last year but since its still under the same administration i doubt its much better.. the education is average but none of the teachers want to be there and most of them are ruder than the students... a couple years before i left they introduced "the harbour" which is basically detention, while in there you are 1. LOCKED in, you can not leave to go to the toilet or even get a drink - 2. there is no teacher or staff there to monitor the room and they simply leave you there and they will throw you in there for ANYTHING - i was 2 minutes late a few times and they said it was "inexcusable" and put me in the for a whole school day (5 hours) when i tried to argue with them. i was not given water or food aside from what i had in my bag at the time and was not allowed to leave as the door was locked.
this place is not safe, almost everyone carries a weapon or something that can be used for self defence and its not because they're all "hood scum" or whatever its because you are in danger if you don't. the teachers do nothing about bullying or fights and as such they were incredibly common - some girl got r*ped and the kid who did it only got sent home for a week and the next year she was in is class for the whole year and they did NOTHING about it.
a friend of mine's mother used to be a teacher there and she quit after being bullied by the teachers and she couldn't stand how rude they were.
in the last year of being here they even got in a police officer to patrol the school with a sniffer dog on certain days of the week, that's how out of hand it got - never ended up doing anything though since the students just learned what days the police wouldn't be patrolling.

TL;DR (summary)
1. the teachers don't do their job and have no control over any of the children, some teachers being ruder than the children.
2. weapons and drugs are incredibly prolific.
3. phone usage is strictly banned even in an emergency where a child should be allowed to call home.
4. none of the teachers want to be there and usually end up chatting rather than teaching.
5. i cannot emphasise enough how unsafe this school and area is.

do not send your child here, it might be cheap but i promise there are better options out there. do whats best for them.

Previously knowing this school, it is so bad and horrible for kids doing drugs etc I immediately pulled my daughter out after finding out her class was giving out vapes. Wouldn’t go here very bad.

This school must be the worst school in Kent the students at this school are dreadful the behaviour is terrible there are people carrying knives drugs and some even use pawn hub from what I have heard if you want me to tell you some if the dangers in the school here they are Harry Reynolds who should be kicked out and fucing Cole Hyland the biggest perv on the planet who only got suspended for a few days how thick is this school I am ashamed to go to this prison of a place it is living torture there were parents protesting on one day miss moon the head cares more about flicking uniform than behaviour and as for the harbour and the flicking bay you can shove it up ur ass thank you very much. Locking students in rooms is illegal and I hope the school see this actually as this is my personal review thank you.

Genuinely hate this school so much. Firstly, they say they care about our mental health and wellbeing but they dont. How do I know this? Well if you go to a support teacher (safeguarding or behaviour etc) saying someones been bullying you for — months or something they dont do anything bur give a phone call home and maybe, just maybe, they have a ‘little chat’ with said bully yet when you go to them saying someones said whatever to you once they give them a detention or something. Secondly, unfortunately in my class theres a very ‘weird’ teacher, he makes everyone uncomfortable and has done multiple inappropriate things to/in-front of students and me and my friends have reported him many times, the only thing thats been done is me being pulled out of class to talk about it with safeguarding privately (incident I was meant to be talking to them about was him locking both our science classroom doors without there being any reason to) I told them exactly what he’s done and the other things he has done and all they said was “Well he has a right to lock the door if a student is being disruptive”, a student poked her head in and said hi to her friends twice, I dont think thats an excuse to lock the doors and if you read schools policy it actually says to only lock doors if the school goes on lockdown. Theres quite a few other things I can say but I cant find the words at the moment to explain it all. All you need to know is, its a crap school and dont send your kids here if you dont have to. Staff are very good and supportive, Some of the students swear alot but the teachers always tell them not too. Great behaviour system.
