Bad school
It made my mental health worse
They don’t listen.
They don’t listen to the students. Like at all.
We express opinions on numerous matters within the school from education to staff and they don’t listen. Instead when students express their opinion on a certain topic (e.g. time to revision and stating they have none) they go and give assembles about how y11 doesn’t revise enough.
There are also matters with teachers not listening to the students on trips. Obviously they would like to take photos on trips and awards but they don’t listen when the children express they don’t want theirs taken, instead they make you to. Unless your guardians haven’t given permission then you still have to and then they dot out your face when posting online.
The teachers can’t teach correctly either tbh and then blame the students whilst also not communicating between each other. This then gets the students confused and in the wrong.
They don’t communicate properly with students either about events or situations but that’s a whole different matter.

i used to think this school was great, however recently it has decreased hugely in hope. safeguarding team are no help. children are bullied and no adult tries hard enough to solve the problem. not enough support for those who require additional help or have special needs.
most of the teachers are better at safeguarding than the whole safeguarding team.
do not send your child here if they need additional support, have any form of disability or confidence issues.

This is school is horrible
Nearly got detention for crying and “refusing to go to lesson”
They do nothing about anything
Teacher given me detention for saying his ‘i’ looks like a ‘t’ but someone told me to go cut myself and got away with it
That same teacher has said i was like teaching a rock,called me lazy multiple times,nearly given me detention for “not doing the work” when i was.

Clearly, this school does not deal with Bullying
Twice I have known of instances where this has happened, be this racial motivated or plain bullying the school has done nothing but sweep under the carpet.

Its rediculas no teachers a totally listen to you supply were kissing in the car park like qtf the school needs to sort it out

Worst school in the area bad for bullying and teachers are unfair I have had to come into school because my child got refused of their own rights 😡
Awful leadership
Shockingly poor communication. Do not send your child here if they have any additional needs of any kind. The leadership is inadequate and they willfully ignore recommendations from medical professionals and refuse to acknowledge ways to support the young people in their school.

Teachers are nice and you can get along with them, most students can get there head down and work others just need that little push, new build is amazing, this school is right for you.

During lock down
At first not too good, but during lockdown the school has been amazing! They have definitely improved so much and the teachers have been supportive during this hard time!
