Anti-bullying is not their concern…

Poor anti-bullying policies, PE teachers are bullies too- at least when I was there…

Nothing ever got done about the bullying until I did something for myself, and then I got into trouble for it, despite the warnings my parents had given.

Racist teachers.

A school that white teachers disproportionately punish black kids more harsher than their white counterparts.
I speak from experience and that of other students of colour.

one of the worst in Dudley

Terrible, racist, homophobic and sexist students, every girl, including myself, has more than one story of a male staff member being super creepy in ways that shouldn’t be allowed, half the male staff are like that tbh. They don’t care about their students mental health unless the student is posh, or a bully, the teachers gossip private or embarrassing information they’ve been told by students to their other classes, unless you’re in too set, the teachers probably aren’t going to try teach you too well. The re department staff are very based and get annoyed if students have differing opinions. I could go on, but it’s just get worse. It’s rubbish, don’t go there, you’re better off going anywhere else .
Also they dot do anything about bullying, a kid literally got beaten up and his head stomped on, kid ended up going hospital and came back with a few stitches. The school just sent the bad ones who did it off for a week, then when they came back the staff were treating them all like they were the greatest, those kids should have been kicked but hagley just didn’t want to have that in their record, how pathetic that they’d value their already crap reputation over their students safety and well-being, and this stuff happens all the time. Some times the teachers even take the piss out of students for their appearance, it’s just not worth coming here honestly, it gets worse every year .

Don’t go there it’s vile

I joined in year 9, awful school, academically it is a good school however they do not support students unless they fit a perfect box. The students were openly racist, homophobic, sexist and all other things and teachers did nothing to stop this. This school is very cliquey and nothing is done to help people connect and get along. The RE lessons are heavily biased ( or atleast the teacher I had were) and I was often in debates about basic human rights of lgbt and POC. No support for mental health, teachers are very scary and dismissive. Don’t recommend

AWFUL

During my time at Hagley from year 7-11 I was looked upon by the teachers as an outcast. If you do not have a posh accent, if you struggle with lessons, if your middle class in anyway this school is not for you. I have dyspraxia and the school took me for an absolute joke. In year 10 I didn’t actually have a maths teacher it was constant supply teachers, causing me to fail maths. DO NOT send your kids to this school, awful.

Very good

An amazing school with so many good teachers. My only downfall is we might have to French to make the school look better . I would like to do triple science but might not be able to . A lot of Catholic school’s are good but I love Hayley a lot.
