get me out!

This school deserves 0 stars to be honest firstly the teachers, most of them dont know what theyre teaching us and thwy dont know how to actually teach ( then they get annoyed we dont learn anything ) science teachers are the worst-theyre never in school and the supplies are no better its like they went up to some random woman or man in the street and placed them in a classroom they're clueless. Secondly this school claims they care about student mental health but thats only until you dont have motivation to do the work , you lash out at teachers and/or other students or until you have to have days off because you physicially cant get out of bed all this school wants is a good reputation they couldnt care less about the students theyre actually supposed to be teaching - Most students that go here behave like actual animals and nobody does anything about it, all the ones misbehaving are always the favourites. The food is over priced and tastes disgusting. This school is horrible dont send your kids here

Disappointed with this school

Very disappointed with this school. Bullying and harassment is rife in lessons and teachers don’t seem to be able to deal with it. Many staff are unreachable, so nothing gets resolved.

Not bad to be honest. Some teachers are a bit rude.

Bit pants to be honest

Have been going to this school since it started, teaching/education is fair, but nothing is done to tackle racism, homophobia, harassment etc.. Probably not a good thing that the only reason i got up in the mornings to go to school was because I legally had to.
I mean every school's got something wrong with it, but this school really likes to shove it in your face how great it is, when it's really not all that.

The best thing they did to be "woke" was send in two "youth" speakers who knew nothing about racial issues or how to practically solve them, and had very backwards and unhelpful teachings when it came to gender and sexuality, such as using diagrams like the "gender bread person," and describing it as a linear spectrum.
*also, when as a group we debated the usefulness of these topics, as we were encouraged to discuss them, we were told off.

Send your kids here if you want, it's no worse than a normal school really, but Hampton gardens isn't as great as they say.

Im year 11 and this school is terrible

I am in year 11 now, i have been here since the start of the school and i can say that this school is not as amazing as it may seem. they do not handle the bullying or racism factor within the school itself, the learning side of the school is actually perfect and has some amazing key members of staff who actually know how to do their job but teachers within the bullying department are terrible. they do no do anything for you, they side with the bully not the victim of the act and they act like they do not care about you at all?, ive heard all the stories and seen them too and i can agree that they are all very true, please do not come to this school ever unless you want your child to be abused by staff and students.

They say they care about their students but it's only the people who are troublesome that they look out for. I can literally be close to tears in lessons and no one will even notice.

bad school

very awful school. mental health is extremely disregarded by the teachers and extreme lack of support or compassion is evident through this. it is preached to speak out and break the stigma but if anyone does nothing happens. teachers clearly do not care and will not try to fix things for you. homophobic and sexist boys are allowed everywhere with no sanctions. science teachers are appalling and always off ( apart from two very good ones ). school needs to sort there stuff out.

Hampton gardens review from student

Not a great school I’ve been there for four years now they completely ignore the racism homophobia and sexism in the school that both the students and teachers use and are , they don’t help you prepare for the future very well and they again are hypocritical sometimes there has been millions of reports about violence and discrimination and they have done nothing when they said that they will stand up against such things

Hampton Gardens

Brilliant School - The atmosphere is superb, the resources and school building are very modern and new. There is a very nice community feel at HG - there are lots of sports teams and events which allow everyone to express themselves in their own way. The Canteen serves brilliant food, and the school is set in a lovely location. All the teachers are friendly, and, where there are some issues, the positives overpower them by miles. The only complaint is that they don't deal with some cases of bullying in the correct manner, but overall the school is good.

A Review

bad school in general, i go too it now. they don’t handle bullying at all, they pick the side of whoever is doing the bullying which is just embarrassing too the school, they don’t know how too handle students mental health at all and the teachers don’t care about anybody but themselves, -10/10
don’t recommend. if i was allowed i’d move.

Students aren’t happy.

The school doesn’t handle bigotry, bullying or any form of complaints. Do with that what you will.

Good for education not for social purposes

The learning side of the school is brilliant however the social side is very poor they don’t know how to deal with issues such as bullying, racism, sexism, homophobia ect. Multiple people in the school don’t feel comfortable telling the teachers there issues because they don’t do anything anyway.

Not the best socially

As a student they (the teachers) pretend to care about us and our mental health or thoughts. But as soon as an issue arises in relation to students mistreating other students they tend to take the side of the oppressor.
