Bad because how hard you try to be good the teachers will still figure out a way to get you into trouble and they give to much detentions.

Don’t go to this (sorry for swearing) shit hole

I went to this school 2016-2021 and even though it’s now becoming an academy(for obvious reasons) don’t go.
From year 7- 8 I was bullied horribly by the year above me and despite letting teachers know they did nothing unless I snapped to which I would be punished, I threw a dinner tray at someone after being tripped up. And was even targeted outside of school by being dragged out a bus by my hair, nothing was done then either.
Year 9 was a whole mess with teachers and we were starting our GCSEs one year early. One teacher got maternity leave and a few others left, so a flood of substitutes appeared. Most lessons didn’t teach us what we needed and was a complete waste of time, our maths substitute decided all we needed to learn was circles the whole year of education was just circles I HATE CIRCLES NOW.
Most of year 10 is a blur but Covid hit in the middle of it and it was handled really poorly. See haydock high is really far back tech wise so once school moved home there was no work to do or the teachers moaned no one was doing work despite it not being sent to anyone it was a real mess.
In year 11 the school work was sorted out but we were behind in our learning and we were ready to come back to school. Now when you think about year 11 you think they need to work hard so they must get what they need and have enough to eat since we need to do exams. Apparently not to this school because of Covid we were being over worked to cram everything we needed ready for the exams, before we were told to just gather evidence to which we then had tests forced on us every single lesson. The previous year 11s got lunch before everyone else(before Covid) when it was our turn we were given lunch last and they had barely any food left by that time, they really couldn’t be arsed feeding their last year before becoming an academy despite preaching that they care for us. Don’t go to this school they don’t have your best interests in mind.

Terrible

Was here year 7 to 9 2013-2016

dealt with bullying, physical and verbal assault reported hundreds of times nothing was ever done about it was scared to go to school and threw up most mornings due to anxiety because of it

The food was majorly overpriced. I was on free school meals for a year and couldn't afford to eat most days.

I have lost count of how many chairs were thrown in my general direction

Very unsafe school with a lack of care and contact with students only a few good teachers, no privacy for students and no personal development schemes and poor code of conduct and consequence system which teachers do not use.
