0 STARS. Crap school.
This school is terrible. Some teachers only focus on money, and the school fails to enforce anti-bullying policies. Don't bother reporting incidents because they always don't look into them.

Do not go here
Where do I start? Hazelwick does not care about the saftey of students, I saw many things at hazelwick, a large heavy boy stealing a girl’s stationary, throwing it across the classroom, constantly harassing her while the teacher sat at the front, on his computer, not paying attention, later the boy and other classmates named themselves “(girl’s name) don’t cry” on kahoot, while she was crying in her seat, the teacher did nothing. Hazelwick lies about it’s achievements during open evenings, with the head teacher herself stating that all the students from the previous year group, going into work or holding a university offer, when I knew a few people in that year group doing neither. If you had any issues that needed sorting out such as issues with exams the teachers would act like you are wasting their time and try shoo you out as soon as possible. Many teachers did not do their job, especially after covid, with some of my teachers not giving a single piece of homework for the two years of sixth form. Also the teachers stop you from taking certain subjects for alevels if your sibling did not do well in it. Some teachers created their own mark scheme instead of using the mark scheme provided with the questions, sometimes even giving 0 marks even if you got the right answer. Their slogan is “effort achieves”, but on some occasions students have been moved up to a higher set, while getting worse grades than I did, when I confronted the teacher they just said “we’re not moving people up because of grades”. I do not recommend coming to this school, it’s outstanding rating is correct. It’s outstanding how much of a horrible place it is.

Terrible school
Terrible school. Had to move my child to a different one in the middle of the school year. When I was asked what is the reason for moving, I told the office the truth, and guess what, No one even replied to my email. Please be aware, if you are considering moving your child to Hazelwick, think twice. It affected my child both mentally and psychologically. Not to mention about her grades.

Jail for kids
Do not bring your child to this school, is all I can say as a year 9 student. You are under pressure to get every question right, but just one, and to try again and again until you succeed. We utilise Sparx Math for our math assignments, and you are required to correctly answer every question until you do so. Since math is difficult for me and affects my mental health, please do not send them to this jail.

Hazelwick needs to improve
To be quite honest, the school puts on a facade. A facade which masks the reality of the place. They claim to be making ‘strives’ for representation- yet their teaching staff is made up of 98% white teachers. There’s one black teacher that only joined in october and there’s 2 Asian teachers. The rest of the POC staff are cooks or cleaners. It isn’t good enough. Hazelwick claims they are an all inclusive school which wants to prioritise mental health- yet when you confide in a me member of staff...

Lots of bullies, don't send your kids here!
I get bullied so much there like bruh. The heads of year only listen to you if you write on this piece of paper about the bullying- and if a parent asks about bullying. This one time I was being bullied, and they wouldn't stop because they knew that the HOY won't do anything. They only stopped when the bully's parent called HOY because my mum told her about it.
