Highfield Middle School - Highly Recommend
This school provides a safe, friendly learning environment for all pupils and exceeds expectations of most students with vast opportunities, school trips, a wide range of lessons- from woodwork to cooking-, accepts and understands pupils from all cultures and backgrounds. They go out of their way at highfield middle school to make everyone feel welcomed, including those with disabilities, learning difficulties or those who are part of the LGBTQIA+ community. Recently the staff have also made an effort to erase bullying entirely from the school, with peer mentors, ‘bully boxes’ and designated staff roles. I highly recommend this school to any parent/child who is looking to join. The only thing that could be improved is the catering services; before covid, there was multiple snack shops including hot food however these haven’t reopened since. Lunch meals are still provided and a great online payment scheme with a fingerprint scanner is in place. Highly recommend.
