Horrendous school, very strict, offers not much support to students, dont care about bullying, always turn situations on the victim, dont help with mental health/mental states or health overall, some members of staff are quite understanding and kind towards students with difficulties, the school nurse says that she doesn't care if a student is ill, she is quite selfish, the head can't handle certain situations including threats, ganging up on people etc, has very little access to bathrooms and if you need the bathroom during lessons you either get told to wait or you have to wait for SLT to take you which they barely show up, you can't drink during lessons, water fountain barely works and doesn't most of the time.
My daughter got bullied so much so she had a breakdown and left aged 15. Bullied because she was quiet and bright. Teaching below standard and the teachers let the bullying go on. No support. The school lost all my daughter’s course work when she left. She started again went to college and university. She still has nightmares about the place.
Absolutely dreadful school. If you have a child with special needs please don’t send them here. They DO NOT CARE.
Bullying is rife and nothing gets done about it. They try and brush everything under the carpet.
The schools fine served it’s purpose just like any other school really, most teachers are friendly and helpful but doesn’t have the best facilities, I’ve since moved on to do my a-levels elsewhere though most people that moved with me ended up moving back.
To be honest the school at the min is kind of strict as in locking upstairs corridors and toilets with willys drawn on the walls but great and friendly teachers
