Teachers dont care. Terrible hygene and poor facilities

I think it’s a better school that heath lane because you can stay in you a levels and you can’t in heath lane so what if people think heath lane is better that is there opinion so if you do want to go , go

SHIT they don’t care about bullying or the students

This school is so bad and so sh!t

So so bad the teachers don’t care about the students the DONT care about bullying

The teaching is decent. The pastoral care at this school is brilliant and they are happy to accommodate any students needs. The only problem is the teachers are unable to control their students behaviour. Lessons are constantly interrupted by other students and bullying is an extremely common theme.

Utter hell hole, I regret coming here. -Former Student.

Now don’t get me wrong I had some great moments at this school and some of the teachers were top class but that’s about where the positive points end, from teachers who are now in prison for things I don’t think I can say on here and teachers just standing by bullying and letting it happen students setting off the fire alarm at least once a month (it went or 3 times in one day once) which I admit at the time I didn’t mind because most of the lessons were boring especially maths where talking was a crime punishable by an after school detention this school has it all if you like the facilities you are again out of luck the swimming pool is as far as I’m aware closed and everything else deteriorating save yourself the trouble go somewhere else

Useless staff could never control a classroom. It's a Shame as I definitely had good passionate teachers during my time there but they ended up leaving as the school got worse

I was a teacher here for about two years; I have never quite witnessed such poor management of facilities, resources, student behaviour, staff training, middle and senior management to name but a few. The school is falling down, don’t let the fancy new website fool you. Staff do not care, and managers lack empathy and don’t seem to care about students or staff. Take a look at the nutrition teacher Mrs Guzzetta- the only thing she could teach a child/teenager about nutrition is how to get a fast pass to type two diabetes. This woman can barely write an email without having to recall it for mistakes, how she is a senior manager is beyond me. She is just one of a few permanent fixtures, like a lazy boy chair or other bulky, awkward and heavy piece of furniture you should have gotten rid of 15 years ago. Ms Patterson is the same- these people brought the school into requires improvement but are still there. Toxic work place/bullying is normal by staff and students no support-lazy teachers and LOADS of staff absence which is unsurprising considering how awful it is to work there. SERIOUS OBESITY EPIDEMIC HERE.

school is practically falling apart in most areas, most staff are useless and don’t know how to control a classroom, food is overpriced and isn’t even nice

Not gonna lie I had good moments at this school but also bad moments. Some teachers aren’t strict some are and overall I think it’s not to bad for a school.

Food is way to expensive and not even good quality. Some teachers don't have a clue what they are doing, not doing social bubbles correctly, so literally anyone couldve come into contact with someone with covid

Worst school ever left at 14 because it made me depressed. All the teachers are horrible and the food is shockingly bad
