I am absolutely disgusted that my childs safety is not taken seriously during this pandemic. Management is awful as is p much everything else abt this school
DO NOT GO TO HOBART
If you want to have a really good education, with advanced subjects such as psychology, mythology, media and photography, then this is absolutely NOT the school for you. The only different subjects you can take for GCSE’s are business and computer science. Most of the teachers are horrible. I’m not naming names here, that would be wrong. Also, if you have a mental illness, the teachers just say “get on with it. There’s nothing different or special about you.” AND bullying is just ignored. If someone punches you, and you report them, the teachers don’t care. But if you punch the person back, you get in serious trouble. Fix the system! The school toilets always smell really bad and there is always rude writing on the walls. The floor is always sticky in there too.
So just do not go to Hobart. For your own health and sanity.

Bad mental health support
This school doesn't support mental health at all. I was told that I "Am not special or unique for feeling this way, deal with it". The teachers constantly fire you with work and expect it in the next day. Do not recommend AT ALL.
To Improve
Most of the teachers are good at their job and are nice but some are just really bad and cause unnecessary stress on others by putting students into trouble for no reason. They are also really bad at sorting bullying and try to make excuses for them. It's mainly because of the teachers that were there when I was. I left in 2020.

They don’t let the kids social distance in class, but when walking in the corridors it’s fine. The IEU room is tiny and kids often misbehave
I wouldn't recommend sending your children here.
Hobart is ok, but they could change a few things. Such as the fact that IEU isn't huge, and because lots of people misbehave, it's not great. The sanctions aren't very good. There isn't a lot of discipline. The corridors are always packed too. They also don't give a lot of time to pack up at the end of lessons.
