Not cool.
The teachers are awful. I was literally white I was so pale and I got a fall point for not doing my work even thought I was literally gonna faint. The children are awful aswel,everyone is so mean and disrespectful. The school is so bad and racist. All the meals are raw and I got sick from the chicken wrap

Rubbish
It’s such a bad school for pupils,it’s like a prison. Kids get shouted at for the stupidest reasons ever. Some teacher should no be there. If you’re sick they don’t do anything.

i’m going to be 1000% honest this school is disgusting! they sexualise appearance for example socks , bows in hair , tiny piercings not visible and they exclude you for how you look and mess up your education and future over one tiny thing wrong. i understand strict from a behaviour perspective but looks should not effect the way we learn, they preach individuality but they don’t allow necklaces (even crucifix’s) , a teacher asked if hijabs were allowed were allowed for example. things that don’...

Not too bad
Not too bad but could improve as many teachers are leaving and lots of students are left without teachers.

Average not great
Not anything special like it’s made out to be and many students are left behind in lessons and many people I know struggle in lessons- not a world class school but not bad compared to others in the area

Hollingworth academy
Many of the staff seem to not care very much about their jobs. I never had any problems with my fellow students but the teachers always treated pupils with little respect and just a general lack of care. There were a few good teachers but the majority of them enforced rules on the pupils that seemingly only existed to belittle us. I wish that some of the teachers at Hollingworth cared a bit more about their pupils, as I think I could have gotten better grades if that was the case. One head of year used to completely ignore many of mine and many of my friends issues wether it be at home or in school, she notoriously cared very little and everyone I’ve spoken to has said the same.
