Bullying/ Violence

My children have been victims of bullying for two years at Horton Grange Primary School. On numerous occasions we have contacted the class teacher, school reception and asked to speak to the Head of the school via telephone and got told that we will get contacted back. But no we didn’t. One of my children has had things to said to him continuously, about his looks, weight, family. He is pushed around at lunchtime, and the teacher on duty got told about the incident and said to the kids who pushed him to ‘stop’ -like this is going to have an impact. Why isn’t there a proper sanction when something like this is reported? My other child has been tripped over by another child as he states, and he required First Aid. WHY HAS MY CHILD COME HOME FROM HORTON GRANGE PRIMARY SCHOOL TODAY BRUISED WHICH WAS RED BUT HAS NOW TURNED BLUE FROM THE HIP. Where is the safeguarding officer? What are the rules around safeguarding? If my child was to hurt their self at home and go to school bruised wouldn’t this raise concerns then? Staff don’t take concerns seriously, and say they had dealt with it but it has happened a day later again. Is this what you calling dealing with it. Where’s the ‘say no to bullying?’ #SayNoToBullying!
