Racism, sexism and bullying, swearing - worst school ever!

Very poor school. This school is extremely bad with so many disadvantaged children. The senior staff who work there don't really take any action on bullying and child safety. Lots of children there have fights daily, and are bullied by others. Its such a shameful school to send your child in. Children there make racist remarks and comments, they swear and think its okay. The children have no respect to teachers and staff.
The headteacher Paul Letch is clueless and lets people do and say whatever. They (the children) in front of him will swear but the head will ignore it all and pretend it never happened. The school is lacking proper leadership.
The inspection report found that pupils are not prepared well for life in modern Britain. It said they have little understanding of other faiths, religions and cultures.
One pupil summed up the views of many when he said: "Pupils here need to know more about other cultures. They need educating. They are ignorant of the world outside of the school gates."
In sum, this got to be the worst school in the region, if not then one of the worst schools in UK.

Terrible school

Huxlow Academy has a long way to go before any improvement is made. The facilities are inadequate. The teaching is terrible apart from a handful of teachers.
The support from the trust is negligent. Since being forced to join Tove Trusts the school has gone backwards. Staff are not consistent enough and the communication is dia. Behaviour of some of the students is disgusting and very disruptive to the students that do want to learn. If you want your kids to do well don’t send them to Huxlow!

Just don't go here

This school is actually jokes. They've put cameras in the bathrooms, all along the corridors but there's none in the classrooms (I'm not complaining though). Half the kids there are probably going to be drug dealers since the school is so focused on getting everyone to change their attitude and they just don't pay attention to their mental health. They pretty much only give counseling to people who ask at the beginning of the year and just leave everyone else's requests. I asked for counseling like 2 months ago and there have been people who asked for it after me and have gotten it already. Overall it's a pretty shit place to go.

Bad school

Safe Guarding is terrible, it's dirty and full of rubbish, very few of the teachers actually care and/or are good at teaching. Ofsted was right

Chloe R

My school has really thought this through really well and in my experience of having to wear a mask whilst in communal areas at work, this has worked really well. Thank you to all of the senior leadership team and aspeshaly to our head teacher Mr Gordon for coming up with such a great plan.
