Have to be part of the clique

If there is one word that could describe this school it would be nepotism. I’m not saying all the teachers are like this because some are wonderful but there is a few.

If you’re not part of its clique or a parent doesn’t have any immediate relationship with the school, any complaint will not be taken seriously.

Fantastic

Fantastic school specially for kids with special needs like my son. All the staff are so friendly and helpful and most of all the kids are all so happy there. The principle and the teachers know all the kids names and they do loads of fun things as well as grate learning

Look for a different school ..

Absolutely appalling school. Head teacher if I can call her that Is sooo rude Very Unprofessional and if your child has Anyform of disability or apraxia needs DONT expect any support from this school , they are only interested in the kids who’s parents work there … just a terrible place for kids ….

Good school just a few things a bit amiss.

I do think the teachers genuinely care about the kids and I never really see a child that doesn't want to go in due to issues with the school and no issues with quality of teaching and friendly reception staff.
The only issues I have are 1. the staggering finishing times esp if you have older/younger siblings and have to wait around for the older to finish.
2. School allowing cars to park on yellow lines and no looking into dog fouling regularly outside school gates cctv doesn't cover to catch the persons not picking dog fouling up. Kids don't look where they going tread in the poo and could spread disease round the school.
3. Communication can be very last minute esp if you need to pay for things /clubs. Not accounting for people getting paid. They ask for all the weeks upfront. Not an issue for me but might be an issue for ones who have more than one child and no accounting for payday.

Great school. Glad we picked it

I have a child in year 6 and one in reception. It will be very sad when she leaves as she really does love going to this school.
Sport is taken very seriously for all students which is great for development and mental health

School is average

When the school first opened up, it seemed like it had potential to be one of the best in Tameside. Unfortunately, you can see that this is not the case. The principle seems like she doesn’t care and seems to only speak to parents and students that are her favourite and these few run the school. The education is average.
