Horrendous School

They do nothing to support children with mental illnesses, bullying does not stop whatsoever and the lunches are incredibly expensive.

DO NOT COME HERE!

this school is absolutely horrible, first of all teachers dont do a single thing about bullying and only care about the student that is bullying the other and put the hole blame on that other student. second of all they do NOTHING about racism but say its because problems at home which does not lead up to students saying racist comments about another student..teachers bring the students mental health down so bad and make them beg parents to move school, ever since theyve wanted to become chertsey high school its gone downhill. isolation and detention is absolutely disgusting for the child and they shouldnt be put through that for no good reasons. dont get me started on the food its left children coming home sick, there is so much mold and flys flying sround in it its not cooked properly! i think this is the worst school you could send ur kid here if u want them to feel safe at school!

racism, bullying, mental health

this school is a terrible place to be in, my child has had no many incidents with the teachers since they're so rude and always targeting my child, this is causing my child terrible mental health and i have had enough. the racism in this school in unbearable, my child has told me that they have heard so much racial slurs come out of students mouths and also towards students. some students have no manners and say what comes to their mind. i also heard fights keep happening in this school, im worried for my child even to be at this school

worst school in surrey

Teachers are so horrible that make children’s mental health go down so low due to the poor attitude from teachers, school does NOTHING about bullying especially racism. School food is never cooked, flys buzzing around the food, MOULD on the food? and if i complain about they say get over it just pick it out?? Honestly would not recommend this school. I’ve experienced racism MULTIPLE times and i’m the one who ends up in racism for bulling the boys bag for it? New rule of an hour and a half for forgetting a rubber what a joke honestly. Toilets are DISGUSTING with soap that looks like poo and mud mixed together. On the toilet stall doors there are children’s names with horrible horrible afterwards. “_____ is a slag” for example. Teachers don’t try and help with children’s mental health or disability’s and say it’s their own fault or they are just pretending. Racism is NEVER dealt with properly give isolation/detention when they are the ones called the N word/P word. And what’s worse i’ve only been at the school for very few years and i can say all this. They act so sweet for the first week or so or when you are having your tour but all of that sweetness goes away very quick. If i could i would rate this school a 0. I feel as if i haven’t learnt anything since i joined.A teacher once said to my friend “ Stop rolling your skirt up all youre trying to do is get boys attention you slag” honestly so out of order.

Delighted with JHS

My child started at JHS this year and I have been delighted with it so far. The teachers are wonderful and my boy is really enjoying his classes there. There is a sense of calmness and order in the school and any bad behaviour is dealt with swiftly.

Please read

as someone who goes here
jubilee high cares more about what we look like than our mental state and education!
they’re so stuck in their mind on trying to make the school look better they have forgotten about the things that really matter. E.g good education healthy mental state and no bullying
They send students home for rolled skirts false nails dyed hair untucked shirts fake tan false eyelashes! To me that’s disgusting you care more about the look of the school than getting the students an education.
this school goes on and on about attendance but send students out of learning environments for things that don’t affect other pupils or them self learning.
telling girls not to have tight trousers skirts that are too short and not even allowed leggins for pe unless baggy shorts are over them
for what exactly
to sexualise young children?
It’s not “distracting” anyone the only people it’s disturbing is the students when they get told by adults to get baggier trousers because they’re too tight around their thighs ect.
and why should that matter
they’re children
The only people it seems to affect here is the teachers
that should say a lot
I think education is far more important than how i look while getting it!
And if you don’t agree that’s something you should take a look at and think twice.
if your agreeing in sexualising children then your part of the issue.

my review

i was an old student here, in fact ive nearly finished my first year of college, but during my time here i was treated so poorly you genuinely wouldnt believe it- my absolute lowest lows in my mental health were caused by this place due to the bullying, general neglect of student care and the lack of responsibility when it comes to teachers- i know all kids hate school, but this school in particular left me genuinely damaged and traumatised . i dont know if any parents actually use this site to see if they should send their kids here, but if they do, please dont i beg you

Horrible school turning into chertsey high

Well what can I say this was a good school for a while the students seemed happy were actually getting work done until chertsey high were joining and now is so piss poor the school. Other people have noticed the students have gone down students are unhappy refusing to go and not thriving. The Schools not following own guidelines and acceptance with what is set by the governors
And well with disabilities or without senco cant be seen they brush you off.
Kids in trouble for no apparent reason have caught the teachers lieing they demand respect but dont give it back.
Keep children in isolation all day and have a detention aswel for an hour which is horrific for the children.
Teachers are known to pick on certain students when all the students can be doing the same as some of the other students or all the other students they will just pick on one child not others i have heard this myself.
Teachers dont even agree with how its changed due to the hardety and structure now, there has been talk even teachers are walking as they have had enough of the school policys. This says alot when the teachers walk too.
School dinners have made the children sick as it's not cooked properly the amount of times I've heard about seating for the children there is none either so they all have to stand as main hall is always full the outside has no shelter and a few benches and when I say a few I think of I remember correctly its 5.
I'm even thinking pulling my child out it's so so bad for my childs sanity
Do not send your children here.

Don’t go

It was an interesting experience but horrible overall I was bullied and never got support until he left jubilee it was an average school life until in 2021 I was sent to the learning Center and one of the teachers had a problem with me always lashing out on me and never said anything good about me then I noticed my work started to slow down which that horrible teacher had all the control of and I was getting praised for completing it all but once i got GCSE results I failed everything please honestly save your child your hell we all had to go through I’m lucky to be working now do not go

Bad school.

I got bullied so much, The teachers never believed me and when they finally caught it on cctv they never apoligised for gaslighting me. I didn't even finish year 7 because it got so bad. I would get punished for defending myself where the person/people who would start the conflict/fight would just get a slap on the wrist.

terrible

absolutely horrible. staff don’t do anything about racist/homophobic/transphobic/ableist kids. will hold the whole class back if a single person is talking when they’re not supposed to be. only half the class (and teachers) actually wear masks when it’s compulsory to wear them. cant clean anything. food is crap, once got an uncooked chicken nugget. they won’t do anything for autistic kids/kids with anxiety/kids with adhd.
