Keep Fit Kids Day Care & Creche

I have a child with additional needs who has attended keep fit kids for the last 18 months , I have found the staff to be professional and have a great depth of understanding of the needs of children who require additional support, I have been able to access many different services and feel confident in the next transition for my child, cannot thank each member of staff enough for going above and beyond , thank you, we will be sad to leave but looking forward confidently to our next steps :)

My son has attended keep fit kids since he was 4 months old, he is now leaving to start big school in September. I can not thank the staff highly enough for how hard they have worked with him over the past few years and how much they have helped and supported us. He has loved every second especially swimming, and Science with Vanessa. A special Thankyou to Jade in the baby room she is incredible at her job. We will miss the nursery but will be back for holiday club.

Both my children have attended the nursery over the past 4 years and we honestly can't recommend Hayley and the team enough. Their attention to detail and the way they look after all the children is amazing. The nursery is always clean with a lovely atmosphere.

All five of my children have spent their early years at keep fit kids they are now 9,8,6,3 and 2 .. the staff go above and beyond to meet the child and families needs, the resources and provision is outstanding and the extra curricular activities they provide are amazing my children were lucky enough to take part in science lessons, daily p.e sessions, swimming, forest school and language lessons, the staff are consistent and have worked at the setting for a number of years, the management are friendly approachable and work hard to meet all needs (including special educational needs) the value for money is amazing and they provide a really flexible family oriented approach, as a family we couldn’t recommend them highly enough , thank your for making our children early years experience such a special one

Manager needs to be replaced she is not fit to manage a nursery. There were no signs on the nursery door telling parents not to let other parents into the nursery (for obvious safeguarding reasons). A man tried to intimidate me into letting him into the nursery when I was leaving with my toddler then was extremely rude about it when I refused due to safeguarding and basic common sense. I raised this with the manager who DIDNT CARE she said he's a "really nice guy" completely ignoring the safeguarding risks to all the children in her care. I spoke to one of the dads I know whose children also attend about the incident and he told me this happened to him at another nursery where a man tried to force him to open the door pushing past etc and when he reported it he was told the man had been stripped of his parental rights legally and was trying to gain access to the nursery. I emailed the manager again after this to inform her what id been told and highlight the REAL risks and she DIDNT EVEN BOTHER TO REPLY. On another occasion she tried to gaslight me that id 'forgotten' to email her my child's funding code when I had done and she had missed the deadline to give it to the local authority HERSELF. On yet another occasion she trampled all over my parenting by behaving in a way towards my child that undermined me completely then she accused me of ATTACKING her when I spoke to her about it. Then she maliciously reported me to social services! This woman is a narcissistic game player not a nursery manager. Very sick behaviour. She needs to be replaced.

AVOID AVOID AVOID! This nursery is ran by children themselves. There is so much I could tell you about the staff here, pre drinking on premises more than once and the teacher is known to complete sexual acts on workers in the car park connected. Staffing issues are ridiculous and the staff are more interested in putting post on social media to make the nursery look good than actually be a good nursery. I would recommend you put your child in ANY other nursery around the area. Or I’d recommend for the owner to get rid of the teacher and start from scratch. So unprofessional.
