Left the profession due to Hayden Abbott
I left the profession after a campaign of aggression from Hayden Abbott. The doctor said the stress I was under was dangerous and signed me off. Abbott is a power-abusive scumbag.
Forced retirement
Glad to see other teachers starting to speak up about Abbott. Forced old teachers into early retirement and left them financially in a huge hole. Only cares about one thing, his pocket. I know twenty or thirty of us over time with the same story.
Bully
Hayden Abbott is a bully. The fact that he abused so many teachers and forced them out of the profession, yet still remained employed, is sickening.
Hayden Abbott is abusive
The school itself is very good, but Hayden Abbott is a bully who abuses women and tries to force staff out. Note again, the school is good, but Hayden Abbott is an abusive bully.
A great sixth form
I came to the sixth form as an external student and its safe to say, I love it here. The atmosphere is like no other school I’ve been to. It’s a really close knit community with sixth form-wide events all the time: like RAG week , with dressing up every day, to quizzes, to school dodgeball matches with teachers , Game shows and weekly debate competitions. The course options are very varied and theres something for everyone. The teaching staff are not only supportive but engaging too. There are many extra-curriculars like school magazine, USU committee an LGBTQ+ support group and loads more. The support staff are super helpful and I really think, the sixth form is one of the best state schools in the area.
