School is just outrageous if your reading this lemme tell you the real bad causes of kenton school and why to not let your poor kids go into this hell hole. 1.The people Nobody cares nobody will. Swearing , Vaping and more you name it. Dont care about anything running from teachers screaming. Acting like 4 year olds. 2.Stupid Toilet System Wanna use the toilet? TOO DAMN BAD Got a toilet pass? WAIT 10 MINUTES! Poor kid in my class waited 25 minutes to use the toilet because the school decide to use an old number nobody answers to. 3. Lunch time. THE HELL YOU MEAN WE HAVE 30 MINUTES LUNCH. By the time you know it it's already 1:57 and ppl are rushing to lesson. How it's 2 YEAR GROUPS! Going to manage in 30 minutes to get their food and eat. Then teachers shout how they need to 'eat faster' or 'get in earlier' .... WTH! 4.Teachers Stupid idiots think it's OK to C5 the guy that was only defending himself but then the guy that was hitting him can walk free?? The hell! Not to mention DAMN miss leach was outside! Talking instead of teaching WHILE THERE WERE KIDS HUDDLING ON THE DOOR LOOKING AT WHATS HAPPENING! 5. The quote 'All different all equal.' Just a bunch of hippy dippy buloni. Don't say that if your not gonna mean it. The only black person in some of my classes. ME! and then like 3 other Asians. Diversity where?! It's just so sickening when you keep getting shipped with someone who's the same colour as you. Like why them?? It's cause their black. Then ppl saying the n word. Teachers:Never heard it. No proof. DOES IT LOOK LIKE I HAVE THE URGE TO COME TO YOU AND LIE?! NO WHY CANT U JUST TAKE MY WORD. bro the racism is disgusting. Lgbtq+ already have something planned. Black history and Asian and more. Nahhhh. YOU LITTERLY HAVE TO GET KIDS TO DO THIS STUFF FOR YOU BC YOU NEVER HAD THE IDEA! WHERES THE ALL EQUAL PART?? 6.Fights. Too many. Especially for no reason. Even one word. Your gonna have beef with someone you don't even know. For example this friend group Is being harassed into fights. Only 2 fights happened this week. Year 7s. Fighting. ON THE FIRST WEEK OF SCHOOL AS WELL! HAVEN'T EVEN GOT TO KNOW THE SCHOOL. 7.Meals. Keeping this short. Little for a big price. Genuinely cba anymore. One of my friends got mold in her grapes. My chicken was pink. Mostly still breathing probably. Not to mention the way it's displayed. Making us wait in the line when it is cold or raining. Taking the piss. 2 year groups aren't going to make it in 30 minutes. With pushy yr9s and 10s why bother. Then yr7s get their own lunchtime. Get. It. Together. 8. Activites ... pe for starts. Wasnt pe meant to be fun. Yes but if you want to go to this get ready to turn that yes into a no. Shouting at you because their not responsible for your kit- your a pe teacher that's what you do. One word C1. So strict for no reason. Little miss Evan think she can play off her niceness. Shouting at us bc one person has forgotten to take off their earrings. Yikes.. Food Tech. Its k. But then why are there left over dishes,messy sinks and things everywhere. Some ppl dont even know how to wash dishes. What happened to the 5/5 clean classroom. Made carrot soup. Looked like poison. Carrots ,water, onion. THE DUDE PUT A FULL ON HAND OF SALT BLACK PEPPER AND CALLED IT A DAY. it was spicy to the brim. Threw it away. 9. Security Telling ppl they will go to C5 for skiving is dumb. Ppl dont care detentions C5s they aren't scary anymore. Bringing a Security guard in E block for skivers is useless bc yk what he's never there! 10.Staff "I'll try remember" "I'll look into to it" "Remind me then I'll come" "I'll pick u up so we can discuss" But you never do. Don't make false promises on important things. Lost my coat still can't find it. Someone's probably stolen it. "We'll try find it." Then there's teachers that cba anymore. I have heard teachers with their own mouth tell us how they only got the job bc it was available and how they just do it for the money. Quit with that 'family' bs as well u know damn well we ain't a family and never will be.

School is just bad. Don't take your kid to this school if your not gonna expect your kid to end up fighting. Allow racism but when it comes to homophobia its a big deal. Teachers really do not care. Some teachers even said they only came for the money or bc the job was available otherwise they wouldn't be here. Always drama that teachers don't care about. Lost my coat and it still hasn't been found teachers say they will do something about it but never do. Straight lying to your face. Food is horrid especially for its price. Some teachers don't even know what they are doing.

Some stuff are good but also they are cons.

Some of your teachers you will find to be amazing and are so helpful towards your education but that is very little the rest jsut don't care. The higher up members of staff are very very strict and rude. The school has became more of a prison than a school. Every locker and art work has been taken out the school is just blank walls and rooms

I’m currently a student here (Y11), and the school is not the greatest. I believe I am doing well academically and my teachers over the past few years have been decent enough but there are a lot of problems and annoyances. Lining up outside with coats off and being expected to be perfectly silent - not the worst but annoying and most pupils dislike it and very few even stay silent Claim they are trying to sort out bad behaviour but they’re too lenient. They very rarely have the correct balance: either they’re too lenient or too harsh with their punishments. Racism and bigotry isn’t dealt with well, students will say slurs and other things and maybe get a little slap on the wrist but that’s all. Training teachers - I had 2 training teachers last year. One of them was decent and made the lessons fun while the other one made my grades drop and made me dislike the subject. Expectations - They set their expectations far too high for a bunch of 11-16 year old children. Last year, kids got yelled at for being well… kids during break/lunch. Food - I don’t go to the canteen but from what I’ve seen/heard from my friends who do is that most of the food is quite poor quality. I witnessed one of my friends quite literally snap a piece of their wrap off. Mental Health - It is awful. I struggle greatly at school and I hate it. Kenton is a breeding ground for stress, anxiety and loneliness. The support offered is awful. “Kooth” is about all they recommend and I tried it out… it was horrendous. I’ve been referred to the school counselling service twice over about 8 months now and absolutely nothing has been done to support me in school. Many kids I know struggle.

just not very good in general. you get teachers that teach the wrong subjects 80% of the time probably because theg do not want to teach there

This school is actually terrible, because the rules are just there to make you feel uncomfortable and they do not permentaly exclude people even if for example sexually attackers and the teachers just make up rules for example on teacher took my water gun away for me, i know i should not have had it, (her name is miss.broof) then i ask for it back but suddenly she no. The amount or racism in this school actually unbelieveable because this one kid named Adian Mctagiot wispers racist slurs at me all the time after i go to report it but then nothing happens no punishment nothing but i get isolated (yes isolated!!) for drawing on my hand, apperantly it was racially motaviting. my mum then tried to speak to the teacher who did this but they use covid as a reason. Finaly i want to say these teachers are the ones that care about students in this jail of a school: Mr.Hicken Miss.Adams Ms.Chowdry Mr.Hardy Ms.Fleet Mr.Reed Ms.Bell Ms.Lockhart Ms.Elliot and someother theachers but can not remember them but these are the teachers that make this school legal for children to go to.

I’ve been bullied, critisised for using the lift when I’ve got a disability, constantly asked “do you have a pass to be in the lift cause you don’t look like you need it” and am constantly looked up and down by staff while standing outside of the lift

in my opinion its a good school although there is some bad stuff about it. For example members of staff like heads of department are abit mean and rude they might think they are helping the student but i dont think by being rude to a student will help with anything it will most likely make it worse. i also find the new slant and shape system useless because naming something a student should be generally doing every lesson and reminding students at every start of the lesson about it is a waste of learnig time. i also think they dont feed the students really well and i think this because students only get a burger and an option of sandwitches with a drink but students usually go for the burgers beacuse the sandwitches dont really taste well and the burgers are hot. I think their should be a choice of pudding or atleast something along the side with the burgers.

I’m not going to lie my daughter went to this school and it was terrible, they are forced to stand outside and line up in all types of weather, before school break and lunch. Furthermore they are told off for wearing there coat whilst inside to put it simply this school is a joke.

Jesus Christ this place is tragic. First off the rules that are only there just to inconvenience you. Like back in 2018 the bullshit of forcing all the kids to go the long way for food in the pouring rain. well now you’re just confined into this little yard surrounded by a bunch of spastics. They have an alright dinner service. Now which you get from your own yard. But because of the confined nature of all of these Covid rules and not being allowed to entertain yourself with anything other than social all of the kids have lost it. They are literally smashing each other’s heads in for entertainment. Pretty funny whilst your there because the school sets your standards so low that you find the shit highly entertaining. But when you look back on it it was a fucking shit show. It was funny one time when the head of year came into our lesson during the Covid shit and shouted at everyone Because they were having mental breakdowns but trying to play it off cool at the same time. I think he said something like “ I am sick of having to deal with the amount of leaving reports“ if they are actually sick of this they need to change what they are doing and free the kids up a little bit instead of being authoritarian stubborn little bastards. Because that never goes well when your school is Full of vile spastics who have no care and will go off the rails easily.

I think the teacher don’t understand students .they let kids get bullied . The teachers aren’t very good with sorting bullying And I think not allowed to go the the toilet is a stupid rule because what about Girl on there’s period what do u expect..they expect girls to bleed on the chair

Too strict , pathetic school , ah joke , changing uniforms randomly , toilet breaks are a joke , teachers are the worst , Wouldn’t ever recommend
