King Edwards entry test what you need to be made aware

Hi Everyone,

Just so you know only the Elite will get a place at this school. You'll be advantaged if you have had private tuition and if you've been fortunate enough to go to a private school.

My son is naturally bright and even though I did my best to defend him unless you've passed the exam and got over 230 you have no chance getting considered. Your circumference will not be taken into consideration and you just have to score the highest. In my opinion the pass mark of 205 is too low to be allowed to apply. You still are not guaranteed a place. Yes I'm aware there's limited places so your child has to be the best practically getting all the questions correct

Prepare yourselves for disappointment if your child just scraped through. You won't get a place, you'll be told your on a Waiting List but you may wait forever.

Unprofessional behaviour.

King Ed VI Handsworth make too many sixth form offers, so even if you make the grade you might still lose your place.

Sixth Form

Unprofessional Admissions

This school is sending out too many offers of sixth form places. This has caused many applicants with grade 9 GCSEs to be rejected. Do not trust this school. Their admissions are unprofessional.

terrible

terrible school, good teachers were leaving, some a level and gcse students got severely downgraded- they got lower than their mock and previous attainments and couldn’t change them. do not send your child to this toxic school environment, they don’t care about your well-being, only your grades or if you’re getting nationally recognised for sport or something similar . you’re probably better going off going to normal state schools in brum. defo the worst girls grammar school in birmingham , if looking at grammar schools do not go here, handsworth boys or aston. only good things to come out of the school are some connections with companies, potentially good friends, and a nice building to go to school to
