Avoid this school unless you want headaches
Avoid this school at all costs. Staff are incompetent with SEN. Terrible communication. Poor safeguarding practices. Lots of bullying across year groups. Ineffective leadership. Staff scared to speak up against leadership at pupils expense. You will never get true reviews of this school as the majority of the parents work at the school with huge discount off their children's fees.

Kingsley Devon - recommended
Kingsley has helped turn my child around after a bad experience in a local school. The small classrooms and friendly family feel were just what she needed and have restored her confidence and enjoyment in school and learning. The curriculum is engaging, they push the kids academically to the right level at each stage, and the sporting and outdoor learning opportunities are extensive. I highly recommend the school.

Do not send your kid To Kingsley School Bideford
Do not send your kid here. Children are punished to behave as submissive, poor communication with families, lack of empathy and education from the Headmaster and the Head of Pastoral. There are other schools much better and with a better culture than this one. An inspection would be needed.

Poor caring for children. Frequent change of teacher and house parent. Don’t send your kids her for boarding school.

Super Mobile Planetarium Visit
✨ Yesterday, with my business Immersive Theatres, I delivered a 7m digital planetarium experience to all 300 students at Kingsley School Devon. I was warmly welcomed by the staff and found the hall prepared just as I had requested. The day was well organised with all groups arriving on time. The excited but well-behaved students enjoyed a rich selection of content: peering up at the planetarium night sky; visiting the International Space Station; learning about dark matter, telescopes, electroma...

Kingsley SENIOR school
Pros: - Handled bullying fantastically. No incidents in my years at the school. - FANTASTIC food, with lots of choices - Generally great staff - Arranged support where necessary - Work set was challenging - Leeway given where needed - Support throughout covid Cons: - SEN centre hard to get to for those with disabilities - Autistic kids deemed to be high functioning excluded from the autism centre - Not all classrooms are disability accessible - Not enough TAs for students
