discusting school, excluded my daughter from school didn’t speak to her parents about the situation, she is not in fault for the incident that happened there denyiny me not letting me inside school the children that caused the incident are still in school DONT TAKE YOUR CHILD HERE i am also reporting them to ofsted
Quite good
Kingsmead is a great school which provides a lot of education and the teachers are funny and really good at teaching they do not tolerate bullying or bad behaviour which is the best part. The food is alright and have a lot of options.and have 58 clubs for extra curriculum.
Basically a prison
Headteacher does not care about the children's feelings and the rules are quite strict (tannoy, one way system, 4 minute passing period, no phones, no makeup, no piercings etc). Many children at this school are very unhappy attending this school and it is a living misery. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE!!

The school is very bad never go to this disgusting school teachers are keep on giving detentions to students cause they cant teach anything to the students.in the canteen they are scamming kids at the canteen. Never go to this school!!
"a shell if a school"
As a student who has recently left Kingsmead Secondary school I must give it 1 star. The senior leadership team is a disaster and the school attempts to maintain a millitary like image, however, lots of unprofessional and improper activity is rampant. The teachers have no communication with each other or management, causing lessons to become retaught and very brief, and as a result of Mr Medways tyranical approach, we saw many amazing teachers leave kingsmead last year. Furthermore, when teachers do leave this school finds the cheapest replacement possible. Many of my subjects I found that I had to teach myself as it was common for these so called teachers to spend class flitting with students and attempting to gossip with them instead of teaching the curriculum. Not only was this occuring, but teachers also were unfamiliar with content and the new teachers that they do bring in simply didnt care enough to bother. This, in turn with the vast unorganised environment and the lifeless feel of the school made it a living hell where even students became robotic and distasteful. Kingsmead is a shell of what it used to be, covering up the cozy and comforting murals painted by students and staff with the sad hospital like blue really does reflect how the school has been stripped of all warmth.

Please help your students are bullying people
I am a good friend of people who go to this school, I am currently not in school for personal reasons. I only wait across the street, to walk one of my friends home to help them feel safe.
Yesterday a few other students from the school (I have no clue who they are but this keeps happening) start laughing at me, and calling me names, It's starting to affect me mental health, all im trying to do is walk my friends home, then get home myself. I habe nothing else today and this activity was helping me until the other students harrassed me, over by style in makeup which is definitely not normal but I'm a person who should be treated as such. I don't feel safe but to not wait for my friend wouldn't be fair as I'm autistic and my schedule and hobbies in makeup mean alot to me

Strange people in SLT, BTEC Mrs Shan is Medways best friend so she got given the job. Teachers are great though

Very very poor. The school has failed to identify the needs of students and provide the right support needed. Frequent staff changes which indicates poor management structure. Headteacher is not up to scratch. Would not recommend if you have your best interest of your kids in mind.

school is very fun and we always have covers for science and we can do whatever we want but u cant bring anything theres gates at the front and they search you and ppl r clarting in the toliets me and my friend got caught but its klm
Awful!
Absolute rubbish, so strict and rude staff. Overpriced stuff at the canteen which drains out alot of money and they never do anything about rude pupils!! Staff never care about other children and so rude. And only gives us 4 minutes to get to lessons when there’s over 1,000 students moving at once? Never again.

My child started here Sept 2021... It has been an ongoing nightmare. You can not send your child to this school and feel comfortable, every other day there is an issue and the senior staff do not care, they breach their own policies and procedures, they lie on the students and they treat the school like a prison by consistently punishing the children. A letter came through to my emails recently stating that students must exceed Kingsmead's expectations which are attendance and punctuality as well good behaviour towards staff an students... NOTHING ABOUT ACADEMIC performance! 280 children per year but only 120 capacity for school trips etc. So if your child doesn't get in there first, they miss out! Everything about it is unfair and devaluing to the students, do not send your child here, I'm getting ready to get my child out because she is going backwards rather than developing.

New headteacher runs school as if it were a company. Has no awareness of how the children may feel. Looks and seems like a prison (tannoy, one-way system, no talking, no phones, no piercings, no makeup, only 4 minutes to get to next class or hour detention - which involve students sitting at a table each, staring at the front, in silence until their time is up). There is no communication between senior leadership team and department teachers. Would not recommend.

This school is horrible, do not let your child enroll here. Headmaster is much too strict and there are so many unnecessary rules and restrictions, bad teachers and system
