Poor staff with bully tactic policys
Shocking school
Terrible school my daughter has adhd and was called one night out the blue 7.30 at night to say she isn't allowed back. She was transferred to rise academy which she has been assaulted threatened and now suffers anxiety due to this. All she needed was some support kingswood will not pay her taxis even though the council have said they have to, they have deprived her of an education for so long. Council have told me they have completely failed her beyond words. She is now 15 no education behind her and her future scares me to death.

This school has no emotions or consideration of the students emotions state they say no excuses while they give them self all the excuses for them selves they are not fair in how they treat their students when it comes to exceptional situations and a child make a silly mistake the punishment will be huge emotionally and not fair it needs a change for a better healthy environment for our future children
Why the school needs to be better!!
Extremely bad school teachers don’t even let you go to toilet if you have ibs or water infection and u get a c5 for walking out the class if teachers don’t let u go

The things in the school magazine is from years ago nothing like it is now I have 3 children at the school and we are taking them out to home school until we find them a better place.
Rewards don’t happen activities are not what is advertised staff are training teachers so quality of experience is poor.
Rules are so silly military school would be way easier. Awards nights are a joke

This school is horrendously terrible! My child has been angry all the time due to this terrible school. They give him many homework a day, recapping things he already very much knows, and keep giving him detentions for the dumbest reason. My child was sent home due to a haircut because it wasn't "fading" or whatever they said, forcing me to spend money AGAIN! They treat him like he doesn't do anything, and his mental health has been deteriorating ever since he entered this camp. I don't think this school should even be legal! They were also mad about shoes and forced us to buy shoes which were too small and uncomfortable for my child.
Honestly, best school in Hull, more like the absolute worst. My child would probably favour the mile walk to Winnifred!

I go to the school and every day is living hell. Absolutely nothing like what they promote it to be. As long as Mr Westoby gets good results he does not care about anything else. I’ve been at the school for 2 years now and since going there have developed severe anxiety and depression. Rules are stupid. (IE you can get told off even a detention for having your head in your hand or pen in your hand at the wrong time). Also is bad at dealing with behavioural situations and more often than not giving out extreme consequences to the wrong person. DONT EVER GO HERE!!!!

The school clothes r so expensive like 40 for trousers, the tachers have no respect for the students, the school facilities don’t work well, you cant fill your water bottle up in a lesson even if your ill, the roof has leaks when it rains, the cleaners dont clean the school properly, the uniform policy is so bad everyone looks stupid in the uniform and its so uncomfortable, you cant go to toilet in or walking to a lesson even if u have started your period or are going to be sick. This school is so bad but i cant move because its the closest school.

Awful school kingswood academy
It’s horrendous. people have been put in hospital because of fights and the school do nothing to stop this they don’t care and when you need help and put your hand up they don’t help you instead they give you a detention for not knowing the answer and the teacher are even qualified to do their job they don’t do anything they sit there and talk about people, there is too many leaks to count rats in the walls and the roof falls apart

u learn everything u need to don’t get me wrong. smart people get more and more smart - extra lessons etc. but stupid people seem to be getting more and more stupid. the schools evidently gives up w then and doesn’t care abt anything less than a grade 9. they care way too much abt appearance ; they want every1 to look like little plain robots but then decide to give acc year a different uniform color. looks atrocious. they care too much abt ur hair makeup and jewellery. get on wiv teaching ur world class kids mate

Kingswood are a joke
Today kingswood had to take their ridiculous rules about uniform to new levels, my son got pulled up last term because of a brown line on the sole of the shoe and again today was pulled up and had his shoes taken again after me spending a fortune on shoes, there black they don’t effect his lessons but apparently two tiny tags on the side of the shoes was good enough cause to take them off him, I’ve had enough of this school they are a complete joke apparently when your child is poorly they expect you to send them to school like that wouldn’t effect your child’s education but two tiny tags on shoes will. Unless you want to pay a fortune for uniform and them still complain about it and have a school more concerned about a pair of shoes then the child’s welfare when they are ill I wouldn’t recommend you ever enrole your children into this school.

Horrible can't manage bullying and way to picky about uniform not caring about the students only how they look or make the school look good teachers need to get head out phones for once
It’s alright
It’s alright for a transgender student it’s just that they don’t handle bullying well and during coronavirus they don’t seem to take it seriously and mix the bubbles a lot. Very strict on how u dress or express yourself and took some of the cold puddings off of the menu

BUT they can teach, and help educated, just! For those students who are already quite well versed, but its a very old and arcaic style of education and staff frown upon individualism.
I would highly recommend thinking about sending your child here, as it could damage there mental health.
