Bullying is terrible line for dinner is massive lunch is 40 min teacher wonder why you are late but it is the stupid dinner line some of the kids are awful always nagging of about expectations maybe they should think about there expectations about being a good school but it is terrible

teachers are shit don't think i have learnt anything in the past 3 years suspended u so i can just sit at home thanks for the day off then take the suspension on my attendance an charge my mam money wen they suspended me an don't get me started on miss Anderson most horrible teacher says she will help u never does calls ur mam everyday to the point ur mam blocked the schools number

First of all it's desgusting, toilets are terrible until ofsted are coming, teachers never deal with anything properly and completely ignore bullying, and punishment is terrible and doesn't help them at all, suicides of ppl from this school wonder why when it's terrible you can't go toilet during lesson even if on period can't go at break or lunch bc the staff tell u Togo outside, this can cause serious health issues.overall I would advise not to send a child here it's one of the worst schools and it's disgusting till ofsted come then they clean it wich last like 2 days max.. Utterly vile.

The school overall is an absolute disgrace I beg do not put your kid here unless you want them to have really bad mental issues. The school nurse there is no point of her all she ever says is "there is nothing I can do" then why do you work there. The offstead rating is awful. All the teachers care about is putting pressure on you you to do good but there is barely any help. Kids that do have mental health issues don't get help at all to the point the child stops turning up to school. Bullying is aassive issue and never gets sorted to the point parents get involved but still dosent halo the situation. The food is an absolute joke it's all ways cold or not cooked long enough. There's a 15 minute break and they tell you to get out the toilets. 30 minutes for lunch when over a hundred kids need to eat. In lesson if you need the toilet they don't let you go and sometimes don't let you go even if you have a medical pass. If you need to call a parent or anyone you get your phone taken off you. The bathrooms are disgusting in most stalls there isn't a door or even a toilet seat. And the kids behaviours are disgusting and so are the teachers. A lad in my year died and all they said was " you can't let this affect your learning" what a way to go guys ?Basically don't put your kid here.

detentions are stupid no point. behaviour points nobody gives one. homework wasting time so you can't hangout with family and friends. their school meals are absolutely disgracefull thats why children don't eat. apparently they have sorted bullies when they actually make it worse. say people can't go to prom over the stupidest things. my child comes home crying she is going into year 9 this year but I'm not telling their name or gender. teachers 'respect' our children yeah right. everybody should get to go to prom wether their bad or good they need to have fun after they leave the school.

It's like Glenn quagmire toilet bowl after he had raging diarrhoea from a flaming Mexican heatwave chilli stuff. Food is like moldy chicken and I love chicken just not moldy. I also don't love cheese paninis flying at me. Overall pretty mid kinda like Joe swanson.

Never really did anything for the students apart from teach. A kid in my year died qnd they barely even mentioned it, let alone nake any counselling offers for his friends. Some of the teachers are alright though

i’m pretty sure a convicted serial killer gets let off with an easier sentencing then what a student must face for 5 years at this compound. if you struggle mentally do not come here i was excluded on multiple occasions because i was having panic attacks so bad i felt like i was on deaths door step, i even collapsed and fainted from it one time just for the nurse to claim i was faking it and that i “realistically should be sent straight back to lessons” due to them treating me like this i wasn’t allowed to go to prom and missed the day that my mam was so excited for me to experience for the whole 5 years i was there if you’re wanting a good reason to come here there isn’t one unless you count form which is like 15 minutes of freedom, even the teachers bullied me for a situation that happened a few years back which they weren’t even allowed to talk about to do safeguarding reasons but it still didn’t stop them, only person i can really say helped me was the director of school improvement big up my G ?

I went to this school since the beginning and it's a really bad school, if you're looking for a school for your kids don't go there. The teachers are the absolute worse! There's only 3 teachers who really supported me and my friends. I went through countless mental breakdowns due to stress, teachers, and homework reasons. Absolute worst part of my childhood spent on that school

If I'm being honest this school has more downsides than positives, I can really only think of one positive. Let's start off with academics and teachers! LJS isn't a bad school when it comes to learning, but it's the teachers that make things bad. Through my first year of school, I learned nothing in computing or French (which is why I now take Spanish). My computing teacher was never in and my French teacher was horrible. Some of the teachers are horrible and have extremely bad-tempers all the time, especially the head of IT and the head teacher. The indoor and outdoor environment is terrible. Outside is boring, just a concrete ground with a few benches. And the inside? The only fun about it is the colourful hallways. When it comes to bullying and safety, I could go on for hours about how bad it is. The school doesn't even deal with bullying properly. The bully just gets a call from the school. "shouldn't the parents sort their child out?". The answer is yet, but guess what? It NEVER happens. The only thing the school cares about is impressing off stead. They don't care about students mental or physical health. On the topic of physical health, the nurses room. The 'nurse' isn't even a nurse! She's just some random woman with a small amount of fisrt aid training. She used to work in a hall as a caterer! I would say the only thing good about the school is the variety of sports activities. You can do things like dancing, gymnastics, football, basketball, netball, softball, handball, tennis, badminton and more! Everything else is bland and boring, like the schools food. I feel like this school has taught me nothing at all. It's pretty disappointing.

Get bullied every day, school have done nothing to support me, mental health doesn’t matter to them as long as you are In school learning things you won’t ever need on adult life I’m 15 and dont know the difference between left and right but I can expand double brackets with no issue, the school is too strict with rules, if you don’t have any school shoes for example they are broken or you have blisters which isn’t your fault you are put in reflection all day everyday until you get some school shoes, trying to buy school shoes is a nightmare as some people have different shaped feet/struggle with laces and the shoe option is very limited, you can’t move in the corridors as the corridors are really thin and due to the one way system you can be late for lessons as you don’t get long to get to lessons for the amount of space there is in the corridors.

People get pushed into lockers, food is shit I can make better and im 15 with no cooking skills,the amount of homework is ridiculous it's got me up all night then I have to wake up at 8:00am for online learning. It make me want to top myself, lots of kids are depressed and the uniform is discuting and uncomfortable

The management in here is awful. Kids walking away from staff. Throwing food. Swearing screaming the lot. I’ve seen videos of it and it’s awful and so scary
