Shit school

This is a absolute shit school, I used to go there and they treated students like shit and I got bullied recored and got hurt and the teachers suspended her for only 2 days while I was traumatised and didn't even want to go outside, I came back the first time it happened then the second time I never went back I moved to alder and its a bit better but ig there the same in a way, I wouldn't recommend this school unless you like shit teachers who don't care and when u make a effort they Ignore it, you can't even go to the toilet without period pads/tampons on the seat and blood everywhere or piss they don't clean it up so u have to hold it in for the rest of the day, when I was there u needed passes to go to the toilet so I would recommend pissing yourself or get a cup and piss in that cuz it will be a long day, other than that don't go to that school I would recommend not even going to school be homeschooled cuz then you don't have to put up with this.

Will never recommend to anyone

I still go there unfortunately. Its so traumatising to be here. Do not go at all. Its always a guess whether you're gonna get a good or horrible teacher. 98% of the time it's a bad one. They either overexplain the work so it makes no sense or put nonsense on a screen for 2 seconds and then expect you to do the work you don't know. The aspire center doesn't care for the children and is mostly for students who don't want to work instead of students who need the help to do work and can't do the work.
The uniform is also shit. The jumpers are uncomfortable and you need to wear the while uniform all the time except in the classroom if you have a good teacher or if you don't mess about (if the teacher likes you). Otherwise it's all the time with a shirt, jumper and blazer even in the summer with the exception of about a week in a year when we can take off our jumper so we don't pass out (even so people still pass out).
There's not so much of a nurse but the office and you need to be missing a limb or throwing up for them to send you joke even if you really need to. They also measure the skirts so it's even more uncomfortable being female with a male teacher when they're constantly concerned by others skirt. There's no jewellery including earrings (even studs) however the teachers get to wear rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings (even larger earrings).
There is now very little chances for people to use the bathroom. You can't go 20 minutes at the start of a lesson and can't ho 20 minutes before the end. That small gap is the only time if there hasn't been other students also go because then the teacher prevents anyone from going.
Students constantly harass and bully students, even with some teachers doing so. There's some teachers who are vent transphobic, not yo your face but trying to convince you you're not trans, it's happened multiple times to different people. Some teachers even allow bullying of trans or lgbtqia students because they are lgbtqia, saying 'oh they're not used to it because its new' and not doing anything about the himophobic behaviour.
There's only one teacher who you're supposed to talk to if you're struggling with mental health and speaking to her is no help. She's constantly busy so no-one can actually talk and even if you can you only get very limited time to talk about massive issues. I understand that's not they're fault but I think the school should have multiple people for this so more students can get help and so theres less work for one teacher to do.
In my own opinion the Aspire should have a sensory safe room or rooms where a student can go to be quiet and calm down for an hour or so. Two rooms would be great, one room for multiple students to go in and one just for one student at a time. There should absolutely have a separate room for students who need to calm down not for sensory reasons or a mental health issue but just from anger, maybe have it more soundproofed to shout (obviously not fully for safeguarding issues and obviously with cctv) and maybe something for them to punch to release anger in a safer way other than lashing out at staff or students. The sensory rooms could have easy access but unavailable for random students to go in to mes or stress others out more. It would be nice for a less bright light with darker walls and different seating to fit all students needs. Sensory toys and fidgets. It would even be great if students where allowed to remove they're jumper and blazer and be able to wear safe clothing (some people have certain peices of clothing that helps calm them down and distress easier and faster) however thsi is a push. Im obviously aware that the school will never make such improvements with the aspire and necessary actions needed to help students with mental health issues or invisible disabilities, however I will continue to argue for these changes. I am also aware they won't change the rooms they have spear and change them into sensory safe rooms, these are just suggestions I and others I've talk yo would find very helpful.
Overall there are too many issues for it to be a safe and educational school and environment, I do not suggest this school to people and if you do go there or have gone there I'm sorry and hope you have/had a better experience at the school.

Terrible place.

Terrible, full.of antisocial little so and SO's who have no regard for people's property, vehicles or right to a peaceful existence. Have had to call the police 4 times over the last two days/nights due to their students behaving antisocially outside my property.

longdendale shit school

the school is an absolute shitwhole. If you like going to the toilet with piss all over the floor , toilets flooded and no toilet seats on the toilets i would recommend this school for you. The toilets are only unlocked on your break and lunch so if you need the toilet i hope you like pissing yourself as the teachers are as helpful as pig shit. Enough about the toilets the rest of the school is an absolute joke , a one way system so your can walk all the way around the school so get to your lesson thats 5 steps the other way down the corridor to then get told off when your arrive to class late. In summer they somehow still believe in 2023 that you won't be too hot wearing full uniform outside in the blazing sun. W have had a couple student actually pass out because of this but no they continue to torture your kids hiding behind the school walls. This is only a small fraction of the events and awful school rules. i highly do NOT recommend this school to ANYONE.

Awful:

With no handle on bullying, actual assault of forceful movement if students do not do what they're told to fast enough, favoritism being overly present, not deep enough if a back ground check on teachers this is one of the worst high schools ever. Oxford rated this and the sister school as the worst and they're not wrong.

My friends sister had to move schools due to extreme bullying no matter how much the school said they'd "deal with it", ive seem staff grab students forcefully if not doing what their told quick enough and the art teacher has a blatant issue with certain students, making them feel singled out and ripping their books if its done differently to her ideal way.

Though the food is nice, me and my friends had noticed a bitch mark on a few of the sandwiches we had. Over all, a horrible school i wouldn't recommend sending anyone to.

Awful school and even worst staff

This school is the worst school !! do not send your children here , staff are rude, unfair and will get hands on if you don’t stand up when told to. My daughter goes this school and i’ve tried to move her numerous times but due to no space in other schools i’ve been unsuccessful. don’t waiste your time on this school. also i will point out there is no heating, therefore even on the coldest snowest days they have to stay in their wet clothes and on the hottest days of the year no air conditioning or fans and have to stay in their jumpers and blazers this is unacceptable!!

Very Poor

Very poor quality education, some staff are rude and are incompetent with dealing with real incidents and just impose school-wide restrictions to 'combat' it.

Wouldn't recommend.
