The truth about lord derby academy
Terrible school rude staff,lack of education,care more about chasing kids around the school than teaching lessons,atleast 5 fights a week,the 5 star hygiene level is from 2017-9 years ago,deserves a 2 and a half hygiene level at max,had a lot of racist comments towards pupils by the teachers,two of the teachers left because he got caught talking weird to a minor and the other teacher looked under the young females skirts,must include they let one of the teachers back to school once in a while to teach as a subsitute teacher after being sacked for this weird act,i would not pick this school for your child-how did OFSTED give this a good.
My amazing experience at Lord Derby Academy:
I absolutely adored my time at Lord Derby Academy! I attended the school between 2019 and 2024! I felt the education there was fantastic and it’s by far the best school in Knowsley! I performed in a Christmas showcase in Year 7 (I had also performed in one there in the summer when I was in Year 6; my primary was invited), I volunteered as a doorman in Year 7 for the school Open Days (which I loved) and I was a member of Pupil Parliament in both Year 7 and Year 9, before becoming the school’s Ambassador for Pupil Wellbeing in Year 10! I absolutely loved my time there and I would recommend it to anyone thinking about sending their child there!

I loved this school everyone is so nice I went there it a great school .they changed everything to make it better.
Terrible school!
This school doesn’t even deserve the 1 star. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN TO THIS SCHOOL! Misogynistic and extremely uneducated. The lack of control teachers have over bullying between students is disgraceful. My sister has only ever experienced adult bullying in this school. I don’t know how they have ever passed offsted. More needs to be done about the state of this school.
Teachers being off
This school is the worst if you have a head ache you have to sit up and listen mostly all off the teachers are of Mrs smart has been of for abt 2 months Mrs O Riley was off for abt 2 months abit longer , I DO NOT recommend this school to anyone
This school is horrible
They don’t provide good education the teacher do nothing the slt members don’t do anything but stand there and yell at you if you if you talk to them no matter what happens they expect you to be in and go to all lessons and they get you in trouble for no reason what so ever when you haven’t done anything wrong eg they put people in iso or intex for fighting when it weren’t even them and they know it weren’t them and then continue you to and no even bother apologising after making them feel stupid/ bad when it weren’t there fault because they think someone looks the same as someone else because of there hair or something like that
The staff
They are a terrible school, they do nothing for any of the pupils wellbeings, they tell the children that they caused their own trauma/ptsd and they are rude to everyone. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL.
The Staff
The staff are unsupportive and can’t offer the support that some people need. They fail to recognise the fact that women have periods and only let us go to the toilet at break and lunch (2 hours apart) which has resulted in bleeding through (especially when you have a heavy flow).
