Lornshill Academy

I’ve been at this school for 3 years and not once have I liked this school. This school also sometimes has messy stairwells and sometimes even the toilets are messy. Outside is a bit better but still not great there is minor litter. Staff members do not handle situations properly at all. Some staff members have even upsetted me. I told a teacher on someone because they hit me in the arm with decent force and the teacher said “well because I didn’t see that it’s going to be quite difficult to do anything about it” this made me think that the teacher was calling me a liar because she didn’t see it happen. Teachers at this school are also known for causing scenes in classrooms. The work in this school is decent. If your an LA a Teacher or a P7 going into S1 I would recommend you don’t go/work at this school not a great environment and has pretty bad atmosphere. The safety of this school isn’t amazing due to pupils that can be bullies and the staff members not handling problems/situations it’s almost like the staff don’t know what they’re doing and don’t know how to handle situations properly. I’ve been bullied at this school by pupils and the staff members that I told didn’t do anything about it I was very upset and shocked at this! The behaviour of some staff members is shocking.

staff’s behaviour is shocking they don’t handle situations properly and make students seem like the problem when it’s nothing to do with them!! my child has went here for 4 years and still gets picked on by the same teacher i’m sick to the back teeth of this shocking behaviour and no one will take met serious the school and work is decent but there is one teacher who is a nasty horrible bully who needs to work somone with no social interaction and she clearly can’t interact without causing a scene or an argument this school is known to be “bully free” but the biggest bully is one of there staff!!!!!! this is a serious issue and needs to be dealt with straight away!

The work is ok but most members of staff are the issue and don’t deal with the actual problems they just blame the person that’s convenient
