UGLY TO THE BONE

I am searching my pure heart for something kind to say about this cesspit and yet I can find NOTHING! The thought of it makes me SICK, I wake up in cold sweats nightly after forgetting that i'm no longer a student there. The heads of staff are on a power trip, the maths department are on a calorie spree and the P.E teachers are one text away from being featured on an episode of dateline. The English department couldnt be more different to their opponents upstairs. There's more ozempic in their bodies than students with an IQ above 50. The lunch hall is pure animalistic, you need a degree in jiu jitsu just to reach the front of the line, only to find your prize is a cold potato and some limp beans. And dont even get me started on PHONES. The staff are so terrified you would think they had been killed by a phone in their past life. They spot a phone and it activates a banshee wail that no student can survive. Theres a reason all the SLT are balding, god doesnt reward evilness x

HIGHLY DISSATISFIED

If you’ve ever wondered what it would feel like to attend a place where joy goes to expire, look no further than Lornshill Academy. From the moment I stepped through those doors, I was greeted by an atmosphere that can only be described as aggressively uninspiring. The building itself has all the warmth of a damp big mac, and just about as much personality. The walls seem to absorb not just sound, but also hope, ambition, and any fleeting sense of motivation you might have brought with you.

Lessons should be considered an endurance sport. Not because they’re challenging in any meaningful way, but because sitting through them requires the mental resilience of a monk and the patience of someone waiting for a kettle that will never boil. Some lessons move so slowly you genuinely begin to question whether time has simply given up while others are delivered with the enthusiasm of someone reading terms and conditions. Support? A delightful myth. If you ever need help at this establishment, you’ll quickly discover that being ignored is a core part of the curriculum.

And presiding over this turd of a building is the so called “head of walking around”. An evil figure who seems to exist solely to pace the corridors like a terrible Disney villain auditioning for relevance. Her entire personality can be summarised as a series of barked commands on loop:
“put yer phone away!” “no talking during free periods!”
Not advice, and most certainly not guidance. Just the auditory equivalent of a broken alarm clock that no one can turn off.

She drifts through the halls with the energy of someone who believes volume is a substitute for authority, materialising just long enough to obliterate whatever small, fragile moment of peace students have managed to assemble. In all honesty, comparing her to Count Orlok would be an insult. To him. At least he had presence. She is just unwanted noise with a noisy lanyard.

It’s almost impressive how such a minor role manages to loom so large like a background extra who accidentally wandered into every scene and refuses to leave. If there were an award for turning corridors into cautionary tales, she’d win it without competition.

In summary, Lornshill Academy doesn’t just lower expectations. It buries them, hands you a shovel, and suggests you get used to it. Lornshill Academy offers a truly unique experience: the ability to make five years feel like both an eternity and a blur of dullness at the same time. A rare achievement indeed.

the teachers a bully!

staff’s behaviour is shocking they don’t handle situations properly and make students seem like the problem when it’s nothing to do with them!! my child has went here for 4 years and still gets picked on by the same teacher i’m sick to the back teeth of this shocking behaviour and no one will take met serious the school and work is decent but there is one teacher who is a nasty horrible bully who needs to work somone with no social interaction and she clearly can’t interact without causing a scene or an argument this school is known to be “bully free” but the biggest bully is one of there staff!!!!!! this is a serious issue and needs to be dealt with straight away!

The work is ok but most members of staff are the issue and don’t deal with the actual problems they just blame the person that’s convenient
