Matt Snape is horrid
So Matt Snape is known throughout the staff as being a horrible person. He bullies staff and tries to force them out of teaching, and I speak for the team when I say our students deserve better.

Don’t go to is terrible and applauding no sopport never choose to go and teachers are very rearly ok and mostly bad

School And support is terrible most teachers are lovely but the rest don’t do anything to make ur time there worthwhile, they show no support after I lost my dad and they don’t help Bullying, I’ve been bullied multiple times in this school and they’ve shown no support at all, the most recent time I had been bullied they moved the whole subject into my attendance and that I should come into school more even when they don’t help my mental health so I can have the confidence to be in school.
My experience at Marden high school
My experience at this school has went really bad the teachers being really cheeky not caring about people’s mental health absolutely appalling between parents and students the behaviour is no words for it them saying that’s stuff is confidential when saying it to other students also saying support is available when needed and there is no support at all I would not recommend this school for anyone at all when being bullied there is no help they do not care at all until it comes to attendance the staff are so rude there and was not happy at all with my experience
Wouldn’t recommend
Being at that school was the worst time of my life. I was told by a teacher than I should “grow up” when I told him s*icide was a difficult topic for me to talk about. There was a lot of racism in the school and teachers would mostly do nothing about it. The school was mildly transphobic as someone at the time was running to be head boy as they were FTM trans, but were told to keep it quiet and not use he/him pronouns and still telling teachers to use his dead name in school. There was a few nice teachers though and I truly hope they’re able to find work elsewhere and not have to stay at that school any longer.

Brilliant teaching, lovely and safe atmosphere. No complaints. Would highly recommend.
Great Teachers, TERRIBLE Support
The only thing that made the school worthwhile was the excellent, albeit underpaid teaching staff who tried their best to make my experience better. However the resources at their disposal limited this severely. Two key examples spring to mind; the lack of help for student mental well-being and the ableism. Do not send any neurodivergent child here.
