Marston Vale Middle School

Man this school was hell. There were three main problems the school never sorted: 1. Rude and Racist students The students here were vile. Racism was never sorted out, even if it was blatant. One time a student in my class was praised for having racist views. Wanna know what they were? "We should ban the hijab because it promotes suicide bombers." c. April 2022. The kid went on to get a merit for it... Substitute teachers were never respected, not even full time teachers either. Teachers left the school left, right and centre, and I had one who left because she was getting bullied by students. You know how crazy that is? Fights happened all the time on the playground -- never ever would the people who started the fight be punished -- it was as if they were glorified by the teachers. The people who didn't start the fight got suspensions. The people who started the fight got a slap on the wrist and were told "dont do it again." The people who were watching ALL got after school detention. Like wtf?? The buses were a whole nother story. Which I will tell. Food fights, fist fights, fighting over girls, stealing, stealing the DRIVERS BELONGINGS, p**n, shanks, racism, profanity, bullying, vandalism. Did they get sorted out? NO. Bullying. Ohhhh bullying. The bullied kids would get punished! This whole section can be summarised in three words. Never. Sorted. Out. 2. Rude, stupid teachers, unable to teach. And poorly planned lessons. The teachers were probably the root of all problems in the first section. Firstly, let's talk about the teacher problem. Teachers were leaving left, right and centre. Nothing was done to help. All the good teachers left and we were left with old, vile, vicious creatures who punished the innocent. There were about 1 and a half teachers per department. Substitute teachers were being hired, who were equally as bad, if not worse. One substitute teacher gave us all suspensions for some reason. Obviously this wasn't followed through with, but this is crazy. HOW can they hire such terrible substitutes. Like what is their interview process to hire these creatures? Obviously, there were some legends, like NEON MAN, and DOCTOR. But those were one in a million teachers. Also there were teachers who were called out as creeps, but the school never listened. Another story I've got for you lovely reader. There was a kid in Year six. Once upon a time, he said he wanted to unalive himself. You know what the teachers said? "No you don't." I mean, what kind of SEND protocol is this? Also, in the 3 years I was at this school, I learnt basically nothing. My brainpower increased maybe by 0.0001%. The lessons were not well planned at all. The systems they used for lessons and taking attendance were about 30 years out of date. Some days, the lessons were non existent, so we just talked to eachother. It might have seemed fun back then. But looking back, that was not good in the long run. The days that there were lessons, they were the most boring peices of shite in the world. Visitors were also treated terribly, and assemblies were so boring. They made us sit on the hard floor, even if you had an injury, unless there were external visitors. That is the most blatant coverup of mistreatment ever. This is the type of shi that goes on in primary schools. This was a MIDDLE SCHOOL. 3. Terrible facilities The toilets had PISS and POO on the floor. They were never cleaned and were always left clogged. The classrooms were painted maybe in the fifties, and the rooms were always old, stinky, and warm for some reason. The field had not sort of proper maintenance. The grass was always wayyy too long. There were holes dug in the field which you always tripped over, and twisted your ankles on. There was no fertilisation of the grass, so it would always go dry. There was no type of anti flooding system on the field, or even on the playground. The playground was rock hard, and had places where you would always trip over. Once I tripped and almost broke my nose. (I fell face first). The AstroTurf was always closed off, and for some reason was made into a eating area. The MUGA was always wet, muddy and slippery. The dining hall was also the assembly room, so you would always be sitting on food in assemblies. The sports hall was small and had little to no use, aside from gymnastics for whatever reason. Oh, how could I forget. The food. VILE Good thing this place is closing in 2026. Wait. It's turning into a PRIMARY SCHOOL. NOOOOOOOooooOoooooo. We better save the kids. The End

Boys Toilets R Manky and smell like expired milk. the linc doesnt welcome you the SLT are shi* and are very rude I get warnings for laughing like what the macaroni

Honestly if you care about your child don’t send them here. The girls bathrooms have cameras and no door,no mirror and is absolutely filthy then there’s there rude subs that think they know better than everyone else and gives out w2’s like it nothing they school isn’t understanding and if the teachers tell you “you can talk to me I won’t email anything” there’s a 90% chance they will email your form/head of year the education system is exhausting and the whole school needs an upgrade in general

Absolutely hate the school words can’t describe how sh**t this skl is honestly the teachers r awful and only care abt their paycheque not the minds/mental health of young students
