Bad school
Part of the ceiling is literary falling apart and most of it leaks when it rains Dint take art, the teacher is just waiting to retire, the English teachers are fantastic, maths is ok, the language teachers are ether rude, or just bad at teaching and the head teacher cares more about you being in school and your uniform than if your ill, if you are actively throwing up they will do anything to keep you there and if you don't have a blazer on in-between lessons you get isolated

the school has had a new head teacher, she has turned her focus on uniform but the rules are only enforced on certan people, there has also been a significant dip in behaveuer. many of the staff have clear favrots and arnt profeshinal

Please don't go to MHS
Horrible school. Teachers have no idea and don't care for our physical or mental health. Some students have vomited in class because teachers won't let them out. Food is awful and always run out before everyone is fed. Teachers are off sick really often, for example today (10/05/23) I had 4 supply teachers. Maths sets are mixed, students meant to be in lower sets confused and nervous to ask because they don't want to sound dumb, students meant to be in higher sets are finishing the work too fast...

please look at other schools
the new head does not put the children first. teachers are far too frequently off sick and the children's education suffers. if you value your Childs education I would not send them to this school.

Amazing- loved every minute
I loved my years at MHS. The teachers were particularly kind and generous. When walking along the corridor people were always saying hello or asking if you are ok. Been taught at the school I found that I was pushed to my limits on everything in order to help get the best grade possible. The English and History departments were my particular favourites as I always felt welcomed and respected in them. The way the school recognise and award students for achievement is really good to. Awards like Headteacher’s award, subject specialised awards and attitude to learning awards. Overall just perfect. Wouldn’t have gone anywhere else. Thank you MHS.
