Children's mental health
In my experience with this school in the last 10 years it's absolutely appalling. I didn't want to believe it at first, I thought it was my children misbehaving, and that's what they lead you to believe. My last child to come to this I absolutely knew 100% that the school has completely the wrong attitude towards children. Some of the things they have said to my child is absolutely unacceptable ( stop being rude it makes you look ugly). My child has never had a problem with school enjoyed school loved to learn, yet within a year of being here it completely changed them in to a child that doesn't want to go to school, and feels cheated by adult's and has had to listen on more than one occasion to adult's ( teachers) talking about them behind there back. This isn't acceptable in anyway it's had a detrimental effect on my child. The local authorities need to go to this school under cover because they close ranks, if ofsted come in they get a least a day's warning. This school needs to change I fear for all the children's mental health.

Almost lost my child because of this school.
This school is terrible they pressure there students and that school brings there students Anxiety and depression they do nothing to help and they don't listen to what the students have to say. The head teacher does not care about how his students feel, there are so many stupid rules in that school I seriously regret taking my child there please don't make the same mistake i did. my child has suicidal thoughts and has accepted serval times all because of the other students and teachers in that school.

I need to share the truth about this fucked up school
I’m currently a student here and my experience so far as possibly been one of the worst of my life. Teachers are predjudece towards boys and racist incidents occur often, don’t punish students, teachers don’t even care, only care about uniform and grades, proud cards are pointless, told of for doing nothing wrong, teachers often bully students, no toilet or medical room during lesson time and no visiting head of year, reported rapes and sexual assults, reports go no where, heads of year don’t actually care about problems but only care about special need kids. I often struggle with mental orders such as depression and anxiety and I’m usually more mature than everyone else as was brought up that way and school makes it so much worse, recently broke my ankle playing rugby and school didn’t care about my injuries or keeping up with work, only cared about my attendance and when I’d be back, head of year lied to me and my family repeatedly and honestly I’ve never had a worse experience and I’m only 13

stupid rules
u cant leave to go to the toilet and if u walk out anyway its truancy , they turn a blind eye to racism and bullying , u cant go to medical during lessons even if u rlly need to , u go to isolation for two hours if ur wearing the wrong coloured socks or ur shirts untucked , they care more about going to your lesson even if youre having an entire breakdown than your mental health , if your makeup is noticeable you have to take it off with a makeup wipe which could make students feel unsafe , insecure , or get bullied . almost no rule in there makes sense .

Such a bad place if you send your children there give it a year or 2 And they will hate every minute there in there, they accuse you of things they knew you didn’t do but as you know teachers are never wrong and scared to admit there wrong

Racism
Great facilities, great location just a shame that the school turns a blind eye to the frequent use of racist language, unless racist words are shouted out across a classroom or within the school grounds, then the issue can't be ignored.

Sad to say the school are not getting it right. Children afraid to speak up, in the inclusion room for simple things like loosing a proud card, bullying, poor behaviour from some students eg smoking while walking out of school, and so much more.
