boarding is really bad

great school for sports and academics and alot better as a day. boarding can be fun but it is so strict and the teachers say have a break at the weekend, so borders ask for the lazy weekend and houseparents say “ a whole day without doing any sports is bad”. all of us are shocked because we just need a day off. also they search through dorms and phones and the wifi can see texts and apps and websites you have been on. they don’t let even 13 year old have social media

Sexist, expensive

Sexist, disorganised, expensive. All boys were forced to play rugby which is horrible when you don’t like Rugby like me. Two times a week and no getting out of it. The mandatory rugby made me want to kill myself. When I went there a few years ago boys were forced to have short hair while girls could have short or long hair. Boys couldn’t play certain sports and girls couldn’t play certain sports. Nothing done about homophobia and bullying was not handled very well. Don’t send your kids here, they will likely not enjoy it. I recommend other local schools such as crisping or Wells blue instead.
