Amazing School + fun
good experience. as a student who has been to mornington this year i can say it is good. besides knowing that you get told off for little things such as play fighting or doing flips on the bars it was amazing .
Getting worse unfortunately
Current head teacher is worse than the previous one. Very unprofessional and lacks basic skills and standards. How someone of this nature can be a head teacher is beyond me. Children being suspended for bad behaviour? These are children from good homes. You need to work with them to bring the best out of them. The leaders at this school are creating a bad environment fornthe children which will only get worse with time.
Abhorrent institution
Racist staff and general discrimination at this school. New head continues atrocious legacy of previous and has no idea how to deal with serious issues such as safeguarding children. Total lack of accountability of headteacher and steep decline in standards.
Bad teachers .
Very bad school no care is given teachers are to fake they don't no wht they doing .there is no safety in here .headteacher needs to go .she is very rude and selfish.
Glad old head has gone!
The school had definitely took a downhill turn once Mr Carlyle had left and the new head had taken over. New head was not very approachable. My siblings, now adults, whom went to Mornington Primary during the Mr Carlyle era speak highly of him even to this day and say he was one of a kind. My kids who attended after the new head was already appointed don't really speak highly of her. Actually it's the complete opposite. Now she has gone hope the new head can bring the good vibe this school had. She has made a positive start but there is a lot to remidy.
Poor Head and Lack of Welfare of Children
Terrible Head, who is finally leaving after over 6years of ruining the school. Horrible incident in school dealt with poorly by Head. Bullying is a problem and inexperienced teachers can’t deal with it. Teachers with experience leave as they can’t work with the over powering Head. No care given to children’s welfare only tick box for foster is important. Avoid this school.
