Mossborne will treat you like a prisoner
The school will not treat your child with any respect and some of its rules are horrendous some teachers scream at students for getting a simple question wrong I have seen a teacher say that our class was a waste of his life. There also was a pedo teacher

my experience at mvpa
well it is a really good school, but the whole thing about being strict is stereotypical because everyone is really nice and it’s only when you are in detentions when they are really strict. i have never gotten a detention and i’m in year 11, and the gcse choices are amazing! however, the way they deal with bullying is a bit shit because they often tell you to ignore someone insulting you. so, their “no bullying policy” is a bit of a joke
Iffy and not completely true to what they say
It’s a nice school I guess but it’s really hard to settle in. The teachers are often very unclear- I know many people who thought the teacher was making ‘threats’ in a joking way but it turned out they were genuine. And they do often sound like jokes. It’s not completely perfect and while they say it’s free of bullying and negative things it’s still bursting with them. Side note the teachers swear ( a lot) and are ver shouty

Some teachers are average but many are very harsh and blame you for things. Racism is not dealt with properly.
Mental health is affected mainly because of the rules but also by the way some teachers treat you. When you join the school you are promised that bullying will be treated properly but most teachers make it worse.
