bullying
HORRIBLE.
This school isn’t what it seems. Its learning system is Average and could work effectively. I say ‘could’ because the teachers are absolutely dreadful. My mental health went down the drain as I went to the school. I spent half of the year crying in the toilet because I dealt with bullying, shouting, scolding, pressure and racism. And the school knew about it! I was in a depressed state and having fear of going to that school. My insomnia got worse and the teachers don’t care about the children at all! It seems that the only thing they care about it the money. It’s 100% horrid! Horrifying! NEVER send your kids there unless you want to be moving to a new one next year!

Honest SEND & SLT Review
As a former student here at this school I can confirm that the methods used by the school are inadequate to what you would want for your child. If your child has SEND related support this is 100% not the place to take them. This school does not host a supportive, accurate nor funded SEND team. The staff here are under equipped to meet the needs of your child. Please do not be fooled by their approach, they may deceive you on paper but from personal experience the support they decide to provide will eventually be revoked by a higher power.
Needless to say the support here is not person centred but in fact tailored to meet the schools/staff needs and not your child. The school neither succeeds in the provision of care as the utilities are non-existent. Having identified this flaw students most often are kept to the school's regime, if your child cannot handle busy environments and needs care 1-to-1 then this will most often be a lacking factor in this school.
Overall the lack of support for your child will undoubtedly lead your child down a terrible spiral of decline. The Senior Leadership Team (SLT) have no regard for the students that fall under the SEND umbrella despite being advertised as a 'diverse' school. Instead of upholding a duty of care, I and others have witnessed children simply crawl under the fence and leave the school grounds due to a sensory overload and lack of support. This is something the schools fail in the most, the safeguarding of children is not the top of their priorities. Prepare to have your child excluded with countless meetings with staff and nothing but a dim horizon for your child's future. Having left this school I am in the firm opinion that I have not only exceeded the school's expectations but that of my own. With the right support and education your child can experience the best of what's to be provided in the education system especially with the right support.

An absolute joke of a school
Honestly the worst school. Allows bullying to occur to the point students are scared to come in. Mental health support is lacking (not the actual learning support team, they were lovely). The school system as a whole is incredibly corrupt, allowing students to get away with hurting others on several occasions without severe action. A few teachers who are amazing. Other teachers will blame a student for bullying and defend the student who is inflicting harm on others.Cases of sexual assault not taken seriously. Avoid, unless you want your kids to be miserable.
My view
Not really the best school they have the right support for mental health and before I left it felt like more strict then it was I felt like I was trapped they need to help people with mental health or getting bullied u can’t even go out of class unless u have a pass like what if someone does actually need the toilet it’s pathetic
Great not perfect
Brilliant teachers except a few years ago when I left I repeatedly got in trouble for someone else causing everything and every time I got the blame even though clearly they were in the wrong.
Newfield ruined my mental health
I honestly wouldn't recommend this school to anybody. Mental health is very rarely ever taken into consideration and they care more about how they look then anything else. They will tell parents what they want to hear and then do the complete opposite. Furthermore, bullying, including homophobic bullying is not taken seriously and is chosen to be dealt with in a ridiculous way. There are a couple of decent teachers here, that will get you through. Overall, avoid this school at all costs.

this school should establish a subject called manners to teach their children! because raising a generation that don't know what manners is should be very imbaressing.
