This school is absolutely horrible. I was refused help for my dyslexia and during exam season I was not given extra time or coloured paper. I was heavily bullied since year 7 all the way to the last day of year 11. The comments other students made were horrible. If I could redo this I would NOT go to this school. I was beaten up. I was attacked. I was filmed. The school knew. They did nothing about it. They dont care. This went on for years from the same group of people and they did nothing. I had evidence and screenshots and witnesses and nobody did anything. I was so badly bullied I tried to take my life and nobody batted an eye. This school has truely ruined my life. I know I cant blame them for the studients actions but they also did NOTHING to prevent it and nothing to help me. We were told that our skirt length would get us r4ped. This school is atroscious and needs to be shut down. I tried to change schools in year 8/9 and was denied. This school NEEDS to be shut down. The teachers are abusive and horrible. I cant stress enough how this school made me suffer. If you were to listen to any one of these reviews, please listen to this one.

Avoid at all costs!!
Do not go here!! The teaching quality is horrendous and the art teacher specifically is a homophobe, i can't imagine why it's still available in my area. The maths teachers set mass ammounts of work for the pupils, including tasks outside of homework, which take valuable time the pupils need to relax, and actually take care of their mental health, which the quality of the counselling in absolutely atrocious, my son had one counselling session before he asked to see an actual therapist due to how poor it was

Horrible place
Food gave my daughter food poisioning! Kids in school bullied her until the point she wanted to die! Teachers make up stupid and unhealthy rules, children can no longer drink in some classes! They refuse to let anyone go to the toilet because lunch is in 50 minutes! Even if the childs on their period. There are a few teachers we love, but many have given my child anxiety!
Racism
A girl in my year was so racist that she said the n word about 5 times then she proceeds to say she is mixed race when she is not.
Also the amount of pressure they put on pupils in this school is absolutely unacceptable.
This school is one of the worst do not send your child here.

Disgraceful.
God awful, freind of mine got sexually harassed by a pupil in my class and the school knew and did nothing about it. It's completely disgraceful. Not to mention the fact that teachers are abusive and absolutely awful at teaching.

I am a parent of a student at this school and to be honest it is the least proffesional school i have ever seen they give detentions for the most petty things such as not having a pen all the teachers are rude and abuse there power to hand out behavior points. There is lots of bullying in the school and the teachers do not do much about it. I hope this review will encourage you to not send your children here.

The head teacher wasn’t even aware my son had an EHC plan. When I was concerned about his mental health he responded (having been told 3 times he’s under CAHMs) ‘he needs to be under CAHMs we are a school not a mental hospital!’ Wow!

I can’t even give a one star! A head teacher that says ‘your needs an EHC plan’, when he actually had one, should tell you all. After telling him my son was again severely depressed, and had to tell him 3 times he was already under CAHMs I was told ‘well he needs to see CAHMs, we are a school not a mental hospital’
My child had an EHC plan that the school were awarded a substantial extra amount of money to provide services. The services included, grief counselling, speech and language and extra support. None of which was provided and when my child understandably couldn’t cope he became initially anxious and then disruptive.
I subsequently took him out of the school as the reference to ‘being a school not a mental hospital’ was shocking to me! I can’t believe the head is still allowed anywhere near young people!
I’m not the first parent that this attitude towards young people has been given. I’ve dealt with this school in another capacity and they promise the Earth and deliver nothing. I might once again reiterate my child was given a lot of money and it wasn’t spent on him!
They can not cope with children that don’t conform (fine) but don’t say you and meet need and then destroy an already highly vulnerable, hurt child!
If you have a child with SEN avoid this school!

The school is awful, teachers are rude and unpleasant, and the headteacher is a massive hypocrite with some of the school rules
