north oxfrodshire academy

it is such a horrible school. the teachers do not consider the students emotions at all. there is no communication and teachers disrespect students and expect the students to show respect. some of the teachers have somewhat respect but there are some teachers who have accusations about themselves, for example a teacher has an awful reputation. the school is getting worse by the day. do not send your children to North Oxfordshire Academy.

Great school

As a student of North Oxfordshire academy I'm going to say it's a good school and you should go here.
The teachers are so nice and helpful.
They have a very good welfare people to talk to and they can help you. But they need to stop the bullying going on. They need to make lunch time longer since half an hour isn't long enough to eat and go outside.

It needs help

Right it’s good and bad you can learn so much and have a good upbringing however there are SO many bad things which happen in this school and I am a student currently and omg they need to have much more mental health helpers. The amount of people who I know and myself have had horrific mental health in the past and currently. People get shamed for working slow even though they mentally can’t go any faster. They Push the students WAY to far and it drains them out and causes major mental health problems within there life. Teachers can teach but need more training on how to deal with people and treat everyone the same. Teachers loose there cool so fast and make up lie after lie to get the child in trouble whuch they don’t know will cause problems at home which once again will cause mental health issues. The learning is pushed to hard to a child’s breaking point. No one wants to go into class anymore because they just can’t take it anymore to sit down for hours in a day and act like adults wuen we are literal children and get treated like dirt although we have to treat adults like royalty. It’s good in learning though they learn lots but it comes at a massive cost of a child happiness and freedom to the point of giving up in life ag a extremely young age. They have the strictest behaviour program I have ever seen they don’t have detentions for behaviour it is a straight isolation for a whole school day whuch means sitting in a class not making a sound doing work and not stopping and degrades the child so much it’s horrible. They used to be a amazing school until the new head teacher came into power who obviously doesn’t care about children’s welfare at all. The welfare team in school is amazing though and they deserve the world although it is so hard to get the proper respect unless it goes into EXTREME situations and if you are just having a bad day then the school will not care at all it’s just degrading for kids

The school needs to focus on there children and treat with them respect and make sure the child learns at their own pace and not feel rushed and pay much more attention to mental health within the school.

My school

The teachers don't care about the students well being and safety during and after school bullying is witness by teachers and they don't do anything people are being threatened to be killed by other students and the the school isn't doing anything there are teachers at the school fat shaming students and putting there self esteem down they also serve students raw foods.

I recommend that you go to this school

Well its a good school to go to. They have good teachers who care about you and they have very good welfare people to help you. The only thing they need to improve on is to stop bullying and make lunch time a bit more longer because half an hour is not enough to eat.

Don't go. Horrible place

They don't know shit about mental health and I would honestly rather go to an american school than continue going to NOA

Don’t even consider it

The school is falling apart with very little investment into useful things - usually spent on furniture for the staff room. Overall cleanliness is very poor. Higher up teachers abuse their power and can give harsh consequences for the slightest thing.

Teachers need more training

Absolutely terrible for people with mental health problems, they never help the students just treat them like dirt so if your child has a physical/mental disability and/or mental health problems do not send them here . It’ll just make your child worse and damage their secondary school experience!
