I’d like to give it zero stars!!! Teachers don’t listen, my child feels like they’re being bullied by staff and some pupils. There’s no support for families with neurodivergent needs, the school doesn’t communicate well at all!
My children have been at this school for a few years, and though some of the teachers try to accommodate and appear supportive, on the majority the school fails with children who have emerging needs. They apply a one size fits all at a organisational level. The teachers contradict one another, and provide little to no assurance to parents. I do not feel as though my concerns about my Childs needs are taken seriously, I feel as though I am an inconvenience or a problem for the school. Unfortunately this has resulted in my child not achieving their potential whilst at this school, I am hoping that next year this might improve however I am doubtful. I am being told by other parents that my child is clearly struggling with emerging needs and the teaching assistants have identified areas of concern however they are just ignored.
