This school is disgusting.They care more about uniform and attendance than mental health and your education. You can only go to the toilet if you have a medical reason. They say they are zero bullying but when you report the bullying or racism or homophobia they do nothing. My friend reported someone six times because one of his “mates” would put him in a headlock so he couldn’t breath and saying the n word to a black person and the school did nothing but they tell you off for not walking on the left in the corridor or bunking lessons. If you wear white socks you get told to take them off or get on called. If you leave the lesson to go to the toilet because they don’t let you because u don’t have a toilet pass, you get an 1 hour detention for truanting. My mate was fiddling with something in maths and the teacher told him if he didn’t stop she would throw it in the bin and he had to get it out the bin at the end of the lesson. You go on report for not wearing your blazer and if you fall asleep in lesson, they don’t ask if things are ok, they send you out and have to stay back for half an hour. All the teachers are horrible execpt for like 2 or 3. If you get caught on ur phone 1 time they take it to reception for the rest of the day, if you get caught on it for the second time they take it and your parents have to collect and if they can’t they keep it and if its Friday they keep it for the whole weekend and the 3rd time you have to keep handing it in. The food is really expensive like a waffle is 1.50 and flavoured water is 1.05. All you smell is vape smoke and they had to shut the toilets in the humanities block because people would vape in there because it has a door on it. All the chavs crowd in the toilets and there’s a teacher outside the girls toilet(some male teachers) but chavs have become besties with one of the teachers so the teacher still lets them crowd in the toilets. But if you crowd someone with your friends, you get told off. Once some kid said i was weak bc i was a girl and my tutor heard and didn’t care. The year group mentor doesn’t care and is really rude to everyone even though there supposed to help. When the “special” kids do something rlly horrible like saying the n word they don’t care but when you say like one swear word, not even racist, they give you a detention. If you have a friend group bigger then 6, there like you guys’ve to split up because this group is too big. If you hate your kids, want them to be thick as a slug, hate themselves and want to die,m send them here!!!

This school is honestly a train wreck. I'm still recovering from the bullying and lack of support I got from this school and it's been a few years now. I took all the appropriate steps when I was being horrendously bullied and yet no one did anything to stop the bullying.

When I got to college I was severely burnt out and I'll equipt to handle college work suffering a mental break that lead to an autism diagnosis and being medicated for really bad anxiety (which I believe was made worse by the bullying and general attitude to mental health in this school). My life since has been on a downwards spiral and due to lack of any support other than countless dyslexia test in this school I feel like my life has been irreparably destroyed and a decent amount of my current mental distress could have been prevented.

If you value the mental health and well-being of your child I'd highly recommend you at least investigate other schools before deciding on this one.

Worst school in Southampton… needs improvements ASAP.

None of the teachers care abt u and ur mental health they would rather u put all ur energy and focus on school and home work. The teachers are rude and mean and unreasonable even though they will say they r being reasonable and say they care abt ur mental health and they say the school helps students with it eventhough they don’t. This school has completely ruined me and I hate it

If you despise your child i deepley recommend this school. It will be the perfect hell hole for your child to expierence. This school have me trauma, ptsd & a low self-esteem. Its so trampy. Every male teacher is a certified nonce. Male teachers have went on their knees with a ruler just to measure girls skirts when i was in year 8 with a flowy skirt. It takes two seconds for that teacher to take a cheeky peek at me knicks. All the good female teachers ran out of that school faster then usian bolt. Now there are only snobby ass teachers with their noses up in the sky who are constantly getting up in your buissness. Honestly.. its ironic how they banned the tight skirts but not the flowy ones that make me look like an incarnation of marily monroe. Head of year honestly spreads his legs as wide as he can whenever im sitting and jesus christ i need bleach. I think its safe to say both 2 male PE teachers are definetley peedos. One of them stuck his head in the girls changing rooms whilst everyone had their yk what out like omg. And the teachers couldnt give a shit like cmon. Teachers only care about attendance & school uniform. If u miss 1 day they act like nuclear bombs is going to land on site and how you will end up on the streets. Certian places are blocked off during break & lunch. You will have teachers patrolling it like its life or death & if they catch you they go ape. Which is more unfortunate when its pouring down and they are all nice and cozy in the corridors making sure no student steps foot in there. You cant go a toilet during lesson unless you have a medical reason. If you trying going there during break or lunch then thats a death scentence. I remember the last time i went a toilet during year 8 at break and the door almost flew of its hinges because of the trampy kids trying to take a peek at me drawers. Im just saying if you want your child to be thicker then a rock then I hope ur child has a fun time at the end of term when everyones sharing 1 tube of sour cream & onion with a tint of saliva mixed in there. Dont forget that one obeese kid that chows down on all the food like squidward with krabby patties. This is comming from a year 11 with plenty of expierence at this shitty school. Honestly in my 5 years of being here i cant recall one thing at this school other then skirts being past the knees & how i get a detetion on monday for not doing my sparx homework which sets set 1 fucking questions. Just a reminder if your 1 minute late you'll get a exclusion for the whole day where your locked up with a teacher. If you attend this school you will atleast face SA wether its from a teacher or the smelly kids in your year who think its ok to touch whatever they want. Im suprised i made it out alive without being jumped or facing knife crime. I rember i heared a teacher talking about locking the assembly doors and setting the hall on fire with all the kids in there like wtf. As soon as i enter that school i face smoke from vapes that the kids are more then willing to share a cheeky puff with you. And not to mention the male teachers getting all close up and personal when they are helping you with a question like literally bear hugging me from my behind like wtf. If by any chance your child is the shittiest child you've ever had to face dont even send them here. Because i wouldnt wish this place on my worst enemy.

Terrible school i would rather have no education hen go to this place they do not handle well with bullying and the teachers dont care if u are safe or not mental health is not a thing at this school all they care About is your uniform not allowed white socks ??? They dont allow students To go to type toilet without a pass and u can only get a pass if u have a medical reason you get a half an hour detention for not getting a good enough mark on maths homework 86% and still getting notifications that it is late to be handed in. No good teachers at this school only my tutor is the main help and i only see her 15 minutes a day fights take place at this school the say someone will be suspended for 2 days but they chooses the victim to kick out and the next Time they are in school they are still in the sae class.they dont allow girls to wear skirts that touch the skin but allow them to wear a flowy ones that is more easy too look up like its not right. This school is sextist and choose favourites. This is coming from a year 9 girl student this place needs to close down .s

the school is so bad all they care about is uniform and the teachers hand out detentions like its nothing no care for mental health what so ever di highly recommend that no one sends their children here school should be shut down this is coming from a year 8 about to go into year 9. school is also sexist and certain children are also racist and this is not dealt with correctly

it`s not too bad, but I would think twice before sending your children to this school,
they constantly dish out detentions for pathetic reasons, ban pupils from any part of the school building at break and lunch even when it is pouring down with rain and all they care about is uniform and attendance. they will not care why you are off of school even if it is a loss of family member, sick or with a appointment for something. There is far far to many students who constantly smell, carry knife and even threaten staff or other pupils with it and lots of students vaping, smoking and making out in the school toilets at break and lunch and they have ago at you when you ask to go the toilet but we cant go at break or lunch because of all that going on in there. This is coming from a year 9.

It’s not as bad as all the students make out to be, and as a current year 11 student, I can say it’s a great school! Sure some of the teachers might not be the best and the teaching can be bad sometimes, but overall it’s a fantastic school and if you go there, you’re are granted to leave with lots of positive memories :)
