Worst primary school in Manchester.

Teaching standards are incredibly poor. Filled with ‘troubled’ children which I understand is not their fault (many are just carbon copies of their parents) but this has a massive affect on the other students and the overall reputation of the school. The school always has been terrible for bullying from both children AND teachers! The teachers have absolutely no respect or care for these children. If you send your child here it’s highly likely they will be behind compared to other children their age with a good education and in the case of your child getting bullied, which is very likely to happen due to the ‘kind’ of children in this school do not expect the school to do anything about it. The cherry on the cake is when teachers are bullying and making horrible remarks to your child.

Do not bother with this school.

Their students from around year 5/6 also cause havoc in the community. Getting into trouble with the police, hated by the community, selling and taking illegal substances etc all whilst still being in their uniform… absolutely terrible and shocking. This whole community is aware of these children and the reputation of this school but I am unsure is the school really is so unaware and don’t care about their students or are turning a blind eye because there should 100% be things being put in place to get these children out of the situations, In my opinion if I knew of children acting this way I would get social services involved, they come into school and act up but the school doesn’t bother to question what their home life is like and what they get up to after school. During their time at school staff members should care for the child in and out of school.

Overall, completely avoid this school and find better in the area. I moved a child from here to st,Paul’s (also in the area) and have seen an incredible improvement and much nicer teachers and students
