Outed as gay, was beaten, sexually assaulted, I was finding ways to kill myself but thanks to the schools safe search on computers I couldn’t search how. My head of year was a nasty evil bitch and she knows who she is. Disgusting school

Unable to find another school???
I have two students in Year 7, which have had different experiences their behaviour policies are diabolical, my son was hit around the head with a school bag leaving him with a laceration in his head and because the other boy is having a difficult time he was allowed to get away with it, the school never called or emailed to see if my son was OK. We were told in front of my son that if we didn't like the school find him another one which isn't great care in my eyes. Now my son isn't trying to get on at school as he feels that the school isn't looking after him. He has asked a teacher to move in a class because he was being disrupted and he was told no when he retaliated to the disruption he got a behaviour point. He got a behaviour point for doodling in an exercise book that he was doing work in. My Daughter is scared to be late for school and late for a lesson because they have been told that they will get a behaviour point if they are late. I am most upset because there is no other choice in Sudbury as Thomas Gainsborough is at capacity and that i feel my children are being consumed by a school who couldn't care less if they are there.

Quite a crap school tbf, the behaviour system is a joke and creepy teachers. Councilling in school is pointless and the teachers act like they care about bullying but when I was hit and told to Kms in school they gave me a behaviour point because I was "aggressive"???. Teachers also pick favourites and openly pick on students

you get called a waste of space and they don't care about your mental health they just want the money. got sent home yesterday for sitting in the toilets all lesson because I couldn't take my head no more, and Mrs Wilson {the principle} called me mental like a crazy person, and when your parents get called in on a meeting or something Mrs Wilson will try to twist your mind in believing her side of the story i know this because she's pushed me before and i know what happened but she try's to twist it so if your thinking about moving here then DONT! go to somewhere where you know there gonna care>
Wouldn't recommend
Bland, most teachers are fine but a lot of things seem poorly organised and the GCSE options are awful and completely lacking, I'm not able to do music and PE which is infuriating as I love both!! There is only one art subject which doesn't cater at all to digital artists or people who enjoy comic or graphic design!!
