Pimlico Academy

Pimlico has been a formative experience to say the least. It is a rollercoaster of emotions, with some good, some bad, but mostly normal/average teachers who are just trying to make a living. That being said, I think the school has a lot to work on, especially after the complete removal of the DT department to make way for some random corporate offices held under lock and key and wildly strict surveillance around their entrances and exits. Pimlico has excellent food and teaching, the curriculum is highly advanced, even when I was in Set 3. I like some of the SLT, but I think a lot of them are on a power trip, and the new headteacher is slightly on the stricter end, with policies like Yondr pouches and a 97% attendance "requirement" now and longer and longer detentions (4 hours? Seriously? I'm in Year 10 going into year 11 so we where the youngest year to see the protests

Stay clear if your child is SEND or has EHCP or any learning difficulties. SENCOS are revolving doors no one stays as school is ridiculously draconian and rigid. Only send if your child has high achieving as then they’ll be left alone. They purposely target send kids with detention after detention for things that are part of their disability no exceptions made and only one or two teachers actually understand SEND. Regret sending my SEND child here with a passion school Is depressing

Do not accept especially special needs children or support special needs children with education needs. Unacceptable. I wouldn't recommend that school to anyone with our with special needs children.

I must say most of the teachers are pretty good and I am learning moderately well but I do not feel safe at this school. The senco has no empathy and is not suitable for said role and the school tolerates bullying far more than expected. Pimlico, do better and parents, I recommend you don't send your child here.

I’ll be honest right, my secondary school did help me get good results and I did make very good memories from the teachers. The staff team was really helpful to me. despite this, The senior leadership team was very corrupt in their ideas and they were very strict and i just didn’t like it. Also, they tried and make me delete several videos on my TikTok page which I found to be very rude as it goes against the free speech human right (UN).
