This school is genuinely the worst

Toilet situations: they have locked every single toilet and the entire school has to share 3 cubicles for the girls and 3 cubicles for the boys, and dependent on where you are you have to travel half the school just to go to the toilet

This school also says they are super inclusive but when homophobia is presented they do NOTHING about it.

No accommodation for mental health problems

Canteen food is inedible 99% of the time and tastes like crap

The school is so bad, bullying and fights happen every single day. They do nothing in classes other than give you random punishments every time you cant do something that they want you to do. A art teacher robbed something from me and refused to give it back and when I swore, rang my parents and still isnt giving it back.

Please do not send your kids here, its so corrupt and it affects my life in a negative way, look for another school.

I am scared about the safeguarding issue about my child, as one assistant headteacher is a bully. She even favours another assistant headteachers daughter and the daughter’s boyfriend as the two teachers are friends. The teacher’s children getting privileges is morally wrong and unfair. These teachers making the school look like third world country’s school. Just recently one of the assistant headteachers demoralised the students. Please can anybody give me advise on how to take legal action against the school as their complaint protocols are not transparent and the teachers are biased covering each other’s back.

Really unethical school from teacher and pupil views

When I was in year ten last year there was one student who called another student big black bastard and the girl is always very naughty but she gets away with it because she is white. When the head of year was told about this she said she did not care as it happened off the school grounds but I know if it was a white pupil she would have cared and done something about it. She did absolutely nothing. Sickening

Children get crushed in corridors frequently.
There is favouritism amongst staff and pupils
If your face doesn’t fit don’t expect to be treated fairly there
There are much better schools around to send your children to. Avoid like the plague

Teachers are abused by not being paid properly even though they work very hard they are denied what is rightfully theirs

Teachers are expected to give their unpaid time to help students and are not rewarded for it
Head teacher is a bully and shouts at staff and bullies them to tears 😭
That’s why all good hardworking staff leave and all good hardworking pupils leav or their parents don’t know what is going on so they stay and suffer and underachieve because the teacher that are left can’t teach because behaviour is appalling

Loathe some school this is.

I am a student of q3 academy and i wish i wasn't because there is a fight nearly every day and the teachers do nothing or maybe give them a small talk but that's it! There kitchen staff is terrible ,one time a kid used bad language at them because he has mental issues and they wouldn't feed them! the teachers never HELPED! Some of the teachers are kind and understands but some are so mean for the smallest actions also the teachers that are mean are just a waist of time ,they put the work up and play on the phones i will also say the phone rule is just why ? The teachers phones can be out but not the students phones ? Also the uniform is sick you can not were shorts when its summer you have to wear skirts or trousers i feel so bad for the boys and girls that wear trousers. Who's ever kid is in year 6 right now DO NOT PUT Q3 TIPTON AS A SCHOOL! And if you were getting bullied and , talked them let me tell you something kid THEY WONT DO ANYTHINGN TO HELP YOU ! I am now in year 7 i have joined in September and i regret it but i do have support from friends that was in primary and earned a lover -28/12/2022

Spent my entire school years miserable was dealing with mental health issues that I received no support for.
I was bullied all through my time here as did many people I know and it was never dealt with, the teachers were often nicer to these bullies and nasty people within the school and since we are speaking about the teachers the whole maths department has no clue what they are doing. The teaching in general is very poor and its up to you to teach yourself if you don't wanna fail. Students are violent and harras people from outside the school constantly. In general the school is very ableist racist and homophones (I was punished for scribbling out graffiti that depicted hate symbols and words even though I explained)

There are more negatives then positive in this school.
These thing are what I have witness at this school as a student I have only started this school a few months ago and I can see why people have bad reviews on this school.

Let's start of with students being out of control: One of the teachers got badly injured in a fight also police had to get involved, there are more then 3 fights every week, students are running down the corridor and slamming doors.

Bad tolerance of bullying: My friend got bullied for more then a month she sent an email to the head of year nothing was done about it, she even missed a 2 hour lesson because of this.

Teachers: They are being sexist and racist to students. The cover teachers can't control the class. A lot of teachers have left because of getting injured by students in the corridor.

Food: Either cold or soggy, we often felt sick because of it.

So the shcool is cool but some teachers are racist or sexist to me and some of them are too rude but the pe teacher drama teachers are calm they tech us real things but the bullieing in this school is massive the teachers are weak they can't even stop a fight like last time 2 year seven gangs were fighting a teacher got punched and they cant stop water fights wich is very disappointing the bad this overall is the racist and sexist teachers and the bullieing u would have give the school a grate but they got to improve and I get bullied a lot

I am a student at q3 Tipton and some of these reviews i have read about the school are pretty much accurate. I'm in year 10 now and i cant say i have had the best experience. I've gone through years of bullying in secondary school where nothings been done about it, even when statements were written. The staff there seem to think because they have authority that they automatically deserve the students respect when they give none in return. I will admit, there are some good staff that i feel sorry for having to work here, but most aren't like that. My grades aren't terrible but thats because I teach myself at home, the teachers cant teach properly or control the students behaviour and disrespect. There has been almost 10 fights the past 2 weeks and all they are doing is keeping eveyone elses break times inside the classrooms where some students may not be with people they particularly get along with. Not to mention fights still being caused inside the classrooms too. The schools policies are pathetic, they care more about a students uniform than they do their education. They put you in ie for wearing a bit of nail polish and use the excuse "its distracting" in order to ban it. The school preaches about expressing yourself but forces us all to wear what they want us to wear. Does a painted nail distract you from work? i dont see how..

another thing that confuses me is that teachers are allowed to wear makeup, dyed hair, have piercings etc but when the student does, because we're "just kids" its different for us. It's not the best of schools and I'm sure if Ofsted noticed how truly horrible this school is, they'd want to shut it down and start fresh with Q3 Tipton because right now, it doesn't deserve a single good comment about it.

This school is so shit the headteacher kez looks like a fat lesbo with her dumb collection of doc martens. She looks like she should be working in a prison with offfenders not young children.
She is so unprofessional with her pink hair and stripey pants she looks like she could be cast in the joker remake.
The whole school is fucked. Mrs clegg looks like a zombie bride with that awful makeup. Miss McDonald’s dresses are so tight they’re practically holding on for dear life. She has her ass bent over every desk and at every opportunity. Miss Hylton looks like Ursula from the little mermaid. Excuse me miss are you looking at me orrr…
She’s so scary with those big fat cockeyed eyes. Handing out negatives like we don’t have anything better to do then to to be attending her detentions for shrugging your shoulders.
Miss jones body is so distorted. She is disformed. With her big boobs and fat jiggly belly. She looks scrunched and what’s with the screw face. Relax b.
Over all the school is shit the teachers are shittt and they are racist towards Asians!!!

Dont allow your children to join this 💩 shower, this school has proven its worth by singling out a child who is exempt from having to wear "the mask" making her sit in a room alone, discriminating against her and in turn breaking the law
This is a good example of a bully who has gotten to big for there boots and now there gona get what they deserve

I don’t recommend this school the kids aren’t being reached a lot the head teacher walks around with multi coloured hair and doc martins yet moans at the kids for a haircut the teachers make the polices up as they go along and a certain voice principal lies and tells names to other parents which is data protection if your child needs help they will exclude and not provide the correct help needed. They need to get rid of the year 7 heads they are a waste of time they lie never contact you back and are arrogant bullying is a major thing at the school but it’s mainly there favourite students that do it and get away with the teachers asking them to name and make statements about other kids and coherence them. They have to line up like primary school kids outside even in the wet and cold weather . The receptionist are vile and will answer the phone going good luck with that call the senco or school counselling is none existent the senior members of staff are corrupt they use other students funds for trips and not let them go same as ace academy was done for in my honest opionon ofsted needs to come in and sack the staff and shut the school down I honestly recommend other schools fr your kids and not this one . The school has not been ofsted inspected and people from mercia who they are merging with are only allowed to talk to top set kids not the rest of the kids and if they was to I think they’d take there money and run . The teachers take kids phones for 5 days straight yet they are on there’s playing on there laptops

This school is not the best teachers have fav students and in maths one teacher will get mad if u don’t put ur hand up but when u do she doesn’t even choose we also have to line up for every lesson and if there’s students still talking we have to stay longer that wastes our lesson time about 15-20 mins of it also bullying is a big thing in this school kids do it in front of teachers and they don’t care teachers don’t even care about learning this school is rubbish they have strict policy’s witch make no sense and we also have C1,C2,C3 etc, (negative points) teachers sometimes give out THEESE for stupid reason our maths teacher came up with a rule if u shout out saying miss u will get a c1 witch is stupid when she is all the way at the back and won’t even pay attention to u i hope this school changes

School Is okay however teachers are very poor they randomly give C's (Negative Points) when they feel like it for example I was reading a book when a teacher said to me is that a C1 or a C2 and I said I didn't do anything and then he said you've been a pain and teachers are patrolling everywhere but students bully and do stuff in front of them and there is at least one fight every day. Some teachers just explain the work and go on their phones or watch something on their work computers. Some make weird rules like don't ask a question until I do the register and they do it in the middle lesson so if for example your stuck on the work but if you go on the next question but it's based on that you can't do anything so you have to wait then they say why haven't you done your starter and then they skip C1 & C2 to C3 which is detention so you have to go back but the reason why so many students lack in there work is that at the end of the day they don't go to detention and THE TEACHERS DON'T CARE so they think it's alright also there are some teachers so strict are like if your slightly out the line they give a C1 also you can't breathe hard all you need is to be EXACTLY behind the person but there are some people that teachers like (FAVOURITSM) For example if the teacher gives a purple pen they might say that's a C1 then someone would say can I have one and the teacher won't say anything

Because of COVID-19 we have to line up in certain zones before we can go into our classrooms. They make us do this until EVERYONE is quite, even if the students being noisy are in a completely different place we still have to wait until they are silent. This wastes and average of 15 minutes of lesson time.
This is quite ironic as recently they have been doing countless assemblies about attendance and how being late by 1 minute everyday will add up... so they have decided that if you are late to school they will give you a 30 minute detention. However wasting 15 minutes EVERY LESSON is completely fine.


In the lessons themselves students often get bullied/called names etc... and in most lessons the teachers either don't do anything about it or just say "dont make comments" and the same person makes fun of the same kid everyday and nothing is done by teachers.

Recently the teachers have been becoming more and more strict. In the lines that I mentioned before, if you say a single word you are told to get out of the line and they will have a conversation with you after everyone else has gone into the classroom which wastes even more learning time.

Then we have the Lanyard and ID, every morning we line up to go into our tutor session and the teachers perform a uniform inspection with a checklist, if you are caught not having a lanyard they will literally send you back home after making you inform your parents. This is the stupidest thing ever. They say that the ID is for security reasons but they literally have you on the checklist and have pictures of you on the school register then you obviously know that its someone that belongs there. Also, they dont check your ID before letting you in the school, anyone can just walk in. Its just pointless.

And finally, I witnessed a student being told by a member of staff to either put their mask on properly or take it off, why do they care? We dont have to wear masks anymore. The student had his mask under his nose and he was literally being harrassed and forced to either put their mask up or take it off, the member of staff even made comments like: "Do you believe in magic because your mask wont work if its not above your nose".
That is just ridiculous and it must have been so embarrassing for the student for something that they didn't do wrong.

The school is becoming increasingly strict but in a bad way and not were they should be.

This school is horrible dont teach the children alot all they do is watch the kids come in and pick them up on (eyelashes Make up hair cuts hairs trainers uniform body piercing) aloud of rubbish i have got 2 children there and i have thinking about home learning them
When the children play up bang the phone is ringing to moan at you the school is a joke teachers am cocky
My daughter is beening bullied nothing is done about it i have left messages for different teachers to phone me 3 days on going i am still ringing the school know regarding this issue my daughter is not eating prople or sleeping prople because of the bullys in that school.the head teacher is rubbish you can never make.an appointment to meet her sorry to say the teachers am the same i am trying to move my children to an other school if not I will be home learning them ...

I really do not recommend going here as its a terrible school. There's not much to say really. In class im an introvert and struggle alot with work and I don't get any assistance. I was and still do get made fun of by other students and the school does f**k all about it.

The school is really bad. I am a student in my final years and I am failing. In year 7 I had expectations of grade 9s and 8s. Now I’ll be lucky to get 4s and 5s. The school said they would hire new staff to avoid using supply staff but in turn they hire incompetent staff who fail to control classes and fail to teach us. Also the schools rules are not properly enforced so we often have people getting told of for rules that don’t even exist. Since the coronavirus pandemic the schools handling of the virus has been pathetic. Students are forced to line up out side in lines that are packed closer then classes. Students just mess around outside as there’s only 3 teachers for 400 students in one area. And the online lessons are just pathetic. I don’t even join them anymore as I learn more doing my own revision. The school does not want to take my education seriously so I will take it into my own hands. Overall the school does not feel safe. The senior staff say the school is improving but you’ll never see them outside their offices oh and I forgot to mention the stairs. There are 3 stairwells in the school. Let’s put it this way. I don’t feel safe on the stairs. And trust me it’s for good reason. Overall this school needs serious help. Like right now.
