My daughter goes to this school. And it's a horrible school teachers and pupils have no respect for each other. If there is a problem you have to email the Head of year to the point all you get its being investigated. You hear nothing back so you email again to find out what has happened and then you get a response. Teachers have no clie with disability children my daughter is Autistic who is suffering with bad anxiety. I have also heard their is a boy who suffers with ticks and the teacher shouts at him for doing so in front of the whole class. I sent in a complaint to the hard teacher due to what 1 teacher said about my daughter and her friend no acknowledgement what so ever. The food hygiene is a 1 rating the toilets are disgusting. Please think about sending your SEND child here as I now regret it.

doesn't think about the students by not letting us go toilet in lesson, food is raw, teachers think they rule the world, saw someone's Wiley one time it was small so i don't recommend this school to anyone and i think it should be closed down for good or let children work from home unless they are doing tests/exams.

As a student in Quarrydale Academy, I think this school is outrageous...personally from experience. The canteens' food is not enough to feed everyone,the people in it are disgusting, and nothing is done about it. The fact that teachers stand outside toilets as well is invading privacy, and the school is a tip. If you are thinking of coming here,don't recommend it.

This school is very bad for education, the teachers are really nasty they swear at the students the food is disgusting theres hair in the food and it’s uncooked. teachers don’t care about ur education they just care about getting payed. so I advise you not to go to Quarrydale if your thinking of going.

My experience
I no longer attend the school as I got no support for my mental health and bullying. This school is genuinely awful for kids with mental health issues and/or learning difficulties, although there is support in place for kids with these things they’re so hard to get a hold of until your child gets out of control, as someone who struggles heavily with depression and anxiety I only got support when my attendance dropped and school was concerned, not about me but about their reputation. Their approach to bullying is worse, as I went to teachers and told them about this multiple times as well as my mum going into school and asking for support for me, which I never received. Honestly this school as a whole is a mess, not only in the things I’ve talked about but also just little things that build up such as the food, teachers, rules (especially with uniform), the cleanliness and so on. As much as this school claims that it’s a safe and secure environment for their students, I and many other people would 100% disagree. Also I’d like to add on that this isn’t really a safe environment for people of colour and people in the lgbtqia+ community, as I’ve seen racism and homophobia take place multiple times.

I am here to state that this school is very lazy. The reason why people may think this school is lazy is because of the teaching. I move quite a while ago and i think its time for me to use my voice for the students who think the same. This school is reviewed as better than Sutton centre. Quarrydale is nothing but a place where bullies sit and learn. When I left this school and disappeared somewhere else i was clueless and didn't know a thing or two about the things that we are learning due to the fact that my past school didn't teach us anything. I feel very sorry for the people who are currently getting bullied for their looks, their style, their passion, the things they like and the music type. In this school to students you must be perfect otherwise you will never fit in and will either be bullied or be a loner. The teacher does nothing about it due to the fact that they are too lazy to get to the bottom of things and they lecture the person who is getting picked on. To me that's unfair and just nothing but idle. The teachers exclaimed that they want the students to be happy and want to feel safe at this school. How can students feel safe and happy if they are getting bullied, teachers snitching on students mental health. What i appreciate about this school is that there is an LGBTQ+ safe place/ club where LGBTQ+ can feel appreciated and accepted just in case their parents do not accept. I accidentally called a transgender person by their deadname, I didn't mean to and the fact that he used to physically/ verbally harm me due to this. He took it to the LGBTQ+ club leader, she handled it horribly and called my parents stating am transphobic. i now cry if I miss gender someone and have panic attacks if i hear the name that person who harmed me. The same person cyber bullied me and the teachers said they cant do anything about it due to its outside of school. I got bullied throughout my time at this school and I handled it by myself. I got threatened to be suspended due to its not acceptable and that i should've gone to the headteacher. we did, he did nothing about it. overall the teachers are horrible at teaching and dealing with bullying. There are also no cleaners good luck with the bad smells and only now having 1 toilet due to the fact that people cant be bothered to clean them.

as a student at this school teachers dont teach us stuff even if they do its poor teaching everyones grades are rubbish there is drugs,knifes,vapes,fags in this school and all theyre bothered about is piercings?they threaten to kicks you out of school for piercings but what about the drugs,knifes,vapes and fags i dont see them being threatened to be moved school? the bullying in school they say “the school is a “happy” and “safe” environment” but it really aint we have all be bullied theyve done nothing about it and no wonder why everyones mental health is bad because school does nothing about it until now but yet who would want to speak up to it when the school just tell home or social services? aint that backstabbing that person and there trust on you.theyre expelling kids for nothing but when people get caught vaping and smoking all they say is “come on get out of the toilet its lesson time” like what the hell is this school? aint it supposed to be bringing us up healthy never mind coming into class and having to sit next to a smoker and all you can smell is that next to you making it hard to breath this school needs to open its eyes before it gets shut down because if i knew this was happening i’d shut it down straight away.

If I could I would give it a zero. There was so many rats and the food was awful. From an experience from an ex quarrydale member I am disgusted to find out it is even worse. There is still rats, people are nearly getting stabbed and most importantly they still did nothing about bullying or any issues. This school is disgusting and whoever thinks this is a good school must be stupid. Also the indoors is absolutely disgusting. The grades are bad and the teachers are awful at teaching. The students grades are horrible.
