Queensmead House School still has a lot of improvements to make, so think twice before sending you child with ASD ADHD or any other special need here. Toilets are locked constantly unless asked to unlocked, which is a no in most cases. causing a lot of distress to a child. kids not allowed access to phones all day and not alllwed them when they go off site. this can be a safety hazard, what if a child got lost from the group? absolutely no contact would be able to be made. The rules are confusing and constantly changing causing distress to children with special
needs as change is not easy. the way staff threaten and speak to the children is completely out of order and is affecting the children's mental health. We do not feel heard by any staff and no one listen to what we have to say. this has been voiced many times with no action from the school. there's no space ex common room, for kids to calm down in ect. considering this is a SEN school i would expect a lot more. I would not recommend Queensmead to anyone until they sort them selfs out.
Awful treat the kids like there rubbish say they understand and work with disorders but cannot even give medication how leaflet states and then then trys bullying kids into taking there meds in ways they cannot the head women is a descrace she abuses those with mental health and then blames them Whn thy turn and lose control its Despicable thought I would be helping my son if I could stop having to go thru mainstream and being abused coz u have something wrong with u u can't control but feel now tht was big mistake sending him here it changed my son so much and none of it for gd all I can say is care about ur kids DO NOT sent them to this school with the Head women so called teacher still there if she go's it cld go bk to being a pretty gd school
Awful . The children just do not get their needs met . Glass is everywhere. The kids are just out of control. There’s bullying going in constantly including sexual harassment, physical bullying abs online bullying and emotional bullying. It’s a trap. They lie to you. And the facilities are definitely not suited for children with autism adhd and/ or sensory issues.
