Red House Academy

I know tons of people that have hated their time at this school, they said the teachers did not care about the students themselves but only the grades they put out. This is only reminiscent of a prison system, or some kind of outdated, brutal form of teaching which takes a huge toll on one’s mental health, something the school further neglects. The buildings are decent, the facilities are okay, the food is mid. A lot of people have fights here, and a lot of people get jumped.

I am a student in year 8 and I've been here since June last year and some teachers are lovely!! But some are just straight up horrible.they don't really care about your mental health only a couple teachers care.you get screamed at for the smallest things like asking for your pen when a teacher is speaking it's horrible.

This school doesn't care about your mental health and or bullying I got bullied all through school and I told everyone and they didn't do anything about it. Which is just appauling.

NET Red House Academy is an excellent school. For example, the teachers are so enthusiastic about their contributions to our legacies. I believe that this is so important because a teacher, by definition, is “a person who provides instruction or education”. With this in consideration, we can infer that the teachers hold the responsibility of students futures and the fact that they aren’t only enthusiastic but caring, supportive and committed indicates a guided approach towards the students. It isn’t my decision to say where your child, or you, should apply for education but I do heavily recommend you/they can participate in this brilliant program. I know from me personally it has influenced me - to the extent that I wish to continue my life with further education and hopefully become a teacher as great as those here. Thank you! The way some of the teachers speak to the students is absolutely disgusting. You would be sitting in a lesson and can hear a teacher screaming in another students face. But because all doors had to be open, this would be very distracting. They do not care about the students, only their grades. The environment is shocking. More like a prison rather than a school. HOWEVER, some staff are really lovely and feel like one of your friends. The education and teaching is excellent, it's just the way certain. Teachers act which puts the school down.
